WOW?! Really? Joel is the DPOY?? I would have guessed Tres would have ended up with that award, but Joel can guard SF's, PF's, and C's. He is only going to get better folks!!
 
I am seeing the tweets about it. Where is the actual press release? Come on announce the rest already. Weber getting POY, DPOY & Freshman of the year would be epic.

That will be much harder to accomplish, I think. Fingers crossed...
 
With regard to the DPOY...who else could have challenged? I think Mario Dunn will get a DPOY in his career, but he wasn't quite there this season. I'm thinking about other players in the Sky and I can't think of anyone else, other than Tres who could claim to be at the level of Bolomboy. Jois, J-Rich, Corey Spence, and perhaps Jaron Nash.
 
I think Murphey gets COY with Randy second. Joel could make 1st team with all of the double, doubles. He will either the last 1st team vote getter or the first second team vote getter. I no, I am using egriz grammar.
 
I like how the Sky brought about the Sixth Man Award (Top Reserves) DeShaun Wiggins PSU, and Jamal Webb UND, were Co-Winners this season. Congrats to both. Wiggins has really done an exceptional job this season in Portland. He has really come on to end the season too. Webb has always been tough and solid for the Nicknameless UND.
 
Newcomer is Quinton Upshur (I guess he is the Q Man). Definitely deserving! Hell of a great player. Part of the quick rebuilding process in Flagstaff that is putting some worry into the Big Sky.
 
Who would get the best player to transfer award? Gelaun or Dewayne Russell?

How much joy do you think the Big Sky is getting off of having a dozen of us glued to our Twitter?
 
I love Tres, but not sure why so many people think he's a great defender. Cause of the blocks I guess? AHe is a great defender if he already has position on a player in the block. If he ever has to come outside of the key, he does get scored on a little too much for my liking. I'm guessing that is why Bolomboy was nominated over tres.
