I’ve got one that I KNOW will stump you, but it’s so obscure that it’s almost unfair to post it. I’ll keep it in reserve until the appropriate time, like if you get too cocky or go on a really long streak of not being stumped.

Bobandwaldo only uses scholarly sources such as Wikipedia, Talhadfoursteals, & Patten JR.

Finally Patten JR's bday is over...we can finally stop hearing about it. He reminds me of Michael Scott:

Okay, here is a good one.
There has been some rumors going on about bringing back a new The Wildman superfan at basketball games.
Who was the original The Wildman?

Not a rumor!! Hopefully soon at a Weber State game near you, the new and improved Wildman will return tot he Dee. We have been looking into getting the original to make a triumphant return, but have yet to be successful. The original Wildman was a the one, the only, Patrick Murphy. I'm sure that the new wildman will never been as crazy, but it should be fun to revive an old Dee Event Center tradition.

Good answer. He is teaching at Freemont High right now. Have you emailed him to inform him of the resurrection of The Wildman at weber state games?

Actually they both have an explanation. Fremont is named after John C. Fremont. He explored much of Utah and would become one of California's first senators. In fact there is a Fremont, California said the same way.

Weber initially comes from John Henry Weber. The Weber river was the first thing in the area named after him and that was how he pronounced his name. Plus technically according to English grammar The second e in Weber makes the first one long.

here is a trivia question for bobandwaldo or for anyone who knows the answer. I don't know it and i'm hoping someone does. I'm gonna use the info for a blog i wanna write for weberhoops.com.

When was the last time a team knew they were going to host the tournament this early in the season?

From what I remember it seems a team doesn't usually know until the second-to-last week if not the last week of Big Sky play.
