Cat/Griz

It's also crazy how hesitant the officials are to make even the most obvious calls against the griz when they are at wagrizz.

There have been some horribly blown calls in this game. Wouldn't have mattered much, but it'd be nice to see them get the calls right. We need replay, enough is enough.

The Cats and Lumberjacks are losing.
A solid Big Sky championship

We don't need NAU to lose as we're ahead of them in the conference standings regardless. NAU losing actually hurts us, if anything.
Isn't it amazing how much difference 1 play can make. If the Eagles make just 1 play either on offense or defense against NAU we are either #1 or #2.

One play was the difference between going to Frisco last year and staying home. And one play was the difference between beating the Huskies in 2011, and being playoff eligible that year.

You are absolutely right. One play, one call, one player can have a monumental impact on a game!

We got beat, plain and simple. But have you ever seen a defense get pretty close to 100% of defensive play calls correct in a game? The yards and plays we made, the defensive calls were correct, our guys just beat theirs.
Maybe, amongst other things, our coaching staff didn't take the necessary precautions to protect our play calling. Not saying the net result of the game would've changed, maybe just the conspiracy theorist coming out in me.
Any thoughts? Mabe me crazy :?

KWCAT, please clarify. I don't understand your post.

Reread my post Golden, and you are correct. It is hard to understand. Bouncing around on forums as a Mt St fan I have been reading quite a lot about UM stealing playbooks and reading play calls. The latter not really stealing but nonetheless definitely an advantage for UM.
Thus I was looking for a 3rd party input on what I saw in CatGriz game Saturday. When asked during the game by a fellow Bobcat fan "what the heck is going on?" , my comment initially was their (UM) defense was playing lights out. My opinion/gut feeling then evolved into its as if they know every play call we make offensively. Even the plays we (MSU) made yards on, UM defense was right on but just got beat.
Thoughts?
ps To clarify: I don't consider knowing another teams play calling stealing. Maybe just an extreme amount of due diligence.

Interesting hypothesis. I just don't think the UM coaches are smart enough to pull that off.

lol

I think it is a very stupid conspiracy. If it were easy to steal play calls, it would happen more often. Also, if players execute their role, it matters less what position the defense is and more how the players play. MSU simply did not execute.

Even if the Griz had the play calls, it would be more the fault of the MSU coaches for letting that information out.

Finally, no matter how much you hate the Griz, their coaching staff wouldn't sink that low. I don't care what you say, Delaney is a very good man and straightened up that program. Cats just need to accept that they are not as good as the Griz and move on.

i think it is much more likely that the cats aren't the same team they were earlier in the year. losing Prukop really hurt their chances against the grizz.

Thanks for your input. Question was more an objective one than emotional. Which is why I posted here.
Thanks again.

That's the classy Grizzly fans we're always hearing about!

If you want to read a classless grizzly post go to egriz and read their name that caption thread where they are showing pictures of the cat coaches and coming up with captions. Most of it is quite funny but then some griz scumbag makes a caption about Rob Ashs wife giving h**d on the jumbo tron. What a bunch of classless a holes. Thats why most fan bases think grizzly fans are the most arrogant, entitled, classless fans in the fcs. They beat the cats fair and square but then they have to turn into total scumbags

Watch out for those mirrors in your house and in your car Hannah.

Hannah;
Never argue with an idiot, it just brings you down to their level and they will beat you with experience.
