I would have been fine with a 6-6 season. Shows we have a young team and coaching is sound.

3-9 screams clueless coaching. And is UNC level bad.

Idaho was racked by injuries, had 4th string QB, but adapted and carried on. We blame injuries to cover up ineptitude. If these classes have been so superior over the years, it should have been next man up.

While I'm on record believing that AT isn't head coaching material and that Kris Richardson would have been the better choice among the 3 candidates, I won't be devastated if Thompson returns for another season so long as he does move on from Fresques and hires a better, more proven and deserving OC.

He's also got to find a way to solidify this defense. Their performance this season was unbecoming given Thompson's supposed expertise. Inexcusable.
 
Luck is not a babysitter, here is there to assess Taylor’s ability to elevate the team, and if Luck does not think he is capable, within 30 days he will be gone.
 
As much as I would welcome TT back I’m not expecting it to happen for us.

We need to move forward and rebuild. With A Luck as GM he will be helping w portal / NIL / Stanford admissions process for players.

With that being said. Appears this year they are thinking the extra support w business dide of football that will help TT focus on talent / football development.

We are needing to take action ourselves now unless that A Luck and Troy don’t see eye to eye?

Political correctness in welcoming him but really wanting him? We wouldn’t know that w TT. Seems like an easy to get along w guy as long as people do their jobs.
 
Here is a coach that I am impressed with. I like him taking responsibility for his actions as HC for example. Griz Stadium was much louder than I expected and I didn’t prepare my team properly for that much crowd noise.

He could be the next Deon Sanders / Harbaugh ex NFL Star now CFB coach?

Need to get a talented HC on the way up! I’m thinking he’s also a great player recruiter!

Saw a post this morning that Fresno State is wanting to hire Montana state HC Brent Vigen to coach the bulldogs?

I’m guessing interim Tim Skipper is in the wind?

I hadn’t heard any news of Skipper losing his interim HC spot?

I think Brent would be a solid choice. Seems like the Montanas keep finding quality coaches.

Another post mentioned Idaho’s Jason Eck looking at the OC job at WS Cougars.

Will be interesting to see it play out
 
Tim Skipper former Hornet Assistant who was interim HC last season at Fresno State had a loyal following from his players.
Too bad skipper isn’t an OC we could hire him to be our OC and he could bring some of that Fresno St talent to become Hornets.

I was thinking, now we see how motivated Andy is… does he bring in Tim Skipper as DC?

Andy, like TT takes a coordinator role to disburse more funding to assistants, and I doubt as a “defensive guy” would bring in someone else to do the part of his job he’s supposed to be best at…
