If our defense makes some steps this off season I think the Eags have a chance. Watch.

Our defense needs to take a lot more than just a few steps. This was a horrific season on D.

I think Baldwin has a lot of eyes from FBS programs on him to see what he can do to right the ship on D. He's not a defensive coach, but as a head coach he is certainly accountable for what happens on D.

no question about the D comments but as always we will surprise people.

eaglesfootball,
Visited Campus yesterday, saw about 5 of our Players, at least three will have Recruits this weekend. Cheney High DL will be on Campus this weekend. Some of them had their 1st Conditioning yesterday. Everyone that I saw seemed happy to be back, and getting back to work. Hope everyone returns. Vic

The Ducks will stomp EWU, even with webbed feet. I am going with 63 to 31.

Well, considering they just stomped undefeated Florida State by an even greater margin, you're not really going out on a limb.

This will not be Oregon State ! Just saying. Hope we come back in one piece ! GoEags

While our defense needs to improve, so does the Oregon OL. I'm also familiar with a few of their OL kids from their hs days and they missed on them. They aren't up to par with how they've recruited in the past and could cause their O to struggle compared to recent performances.

We are going to be a great team in 2015.

Maybe so, but they just kicked the piss out of Florida State's DL. That was supposedly a good DL for the Seminoles and the Ducks just beat them down. By the end of the game, you sensed Oregon could score at will by sticking it up their ass. Florida State had no answers.

Next year's game might end up being a beat down but it will still be a fun game for the players and good for the program. I have no problem with these games at all.

has anyone heard rumors about VA transfering to Oregon?

I saw some article posted on twitter which was just speculation. I guess anything is possible considering he's graduating this Spring, but I think it'd take a lot to take him away from EWU for his Senior season.
