Eastern @ Cal Poly Game Day Thread

Might be the worst defensive performance I’ve seen and only give up 14 points. Cal Poly is betting they can out-tough Eastern tonight. D needs to rise up and stop giving away first down after first down.

Sort of disagree. The 1st TD we gave up was because of a fumbled punt return. The second TD we gave up never should have happened either if we hadn’t committed that dumb penalty. Without those two key plays CP would have zero points.

It looks like the D is playing fine. A couple of penalties didn't help matters and the punt fumble was crushing after getting a good stop. Several stops and a TO ain't hay. CP isn't very inventive so Eag's could sell out a little more IMO but that is probably splitting hairs. Good to have the whole roster of posters on the game thread tonight

Boards been dead compared to previous years. I guess being mediocre can do that.

I don’t know what time,of possession looks like, but my hunch is it’s ugly. This is the kind of game we’ve been losing this year because we just fade away.

I didn’t think they played too bad in the 1st half but they’re definitely worn down at this point. I still don’t think they can get enough stops on our offense to win.

If we stop committing dumbass penalties we can run away with the game. But it's only a two possession game at the moment and or or two more screwups like we had in the first half and they're right back in the game.

In the Jacksonville State game we seemed to be in charge the first half but never got more than a two score lead and you know the results of that game.
