Eastern @ Cal Poly Game Day Thread

Might just have to let them score. If not, they kick the FG and win. Unbelievable piss poor effort and execution in the 4th quarter. Again.

So much potential wasted this season. I can’t believe we’d turn the ball over two possessions in a row with the game on the line.

this sums it up..

It’s just not EWU football. I don’t know what football we’ve played this year but it hasn’t been Eastern football. That’s not a dig on anyone in particular, but the coaches really need to do some soul searching in the off-season. Defense has been bad. Special teams play is really poor. The offense is uber good when it’s clicking but wholly inconsistent.

The good news is that typically we follow up a bad season with a really good one. But we do have a lot of holes to fill - particularly the entire offensive line and we have gaps at running back.

I can’t believe we won this game, but on to next week and PSU. Beating them at home to finish out 7-5 would put a positive spin on what could have been another really good season.
