Eastern vs. Montana St. Game Day Thread

If you’re going to go ahead and give the other 2 team points you better make damn sure that it’s actually a hold. Barely anything there.
 
I didn't think Baddege was out there earlier at tackle, then he is in a tight situation and gets a hold... If he's been on the field OK, it not; that's a tough spot to put a kid in. Super impressed that Eag's can continue to make the same mistakes expecting different results. Fascinating. (tongue in cheek)
 
I guess the good news is that we couldn't play much worse, and yet we're only down 3 points and a possession.

In games like this where we're playing against a really good defense, I'm surprised we don't use Barriere's running more often. I'd be telling him if his primary and first check aren't there, take off.

Defensively, it's a bit of a mess. Too many first downs and a lot of blown tackles.
 
I like the Kats QB, good mixture of athleticism, accuracy (not perfect) and touch. Beyond that this is one WEIRD game. Eag's could be down a couple of TD's. Wish I was in the stands.

It looked to me that it was just cramps. I’m sure he’ll be back in the second half.

We need to execute a little better offensively, although we were ok in the 1st qtr. Only 30 yards of offense in the 2nd, though, and that’s not going to cut it.
 
Barriere needs to use his legs more. There’s no spy on him and there’s been a few plays where he could have run for miles.
 
We have to do a better job of containing their RB and get a couple of lucky breaks to win this game. Statistically we’re getting dominated.
