Not getting on the offense but anyone knows last time we only scored 7 pts in the first half of a game? Didn't we struggle in a game the first half this season? just curious

Sac State game.

Does anyone think there's a realistic chance that Hennessey starts the second half?

I doubt it. But if West continues to not be able to run the offense they need to give it serious consideration. Not calling for him to sit, but we need to play the guy that gives us the best chance to win regardless of position.

I'm 50/50 on this. West has struggled, but not sure throwing RH in there is the answer either. He looked great in the Oregon game but we haven't seen a lot of him since and don't know how he's going to handle this kind of pressure. Guess we'll see.

Baldwin won't bench West for one bad half.
Not sure why you say this??? He didn't hesitate to bench West in the UNI game. Hennessy would have played the rest of the game if he hadn't been hurt. Also, going back to 2012, he didn't have a problem benching Kyle Padron when he wasn't getting the job done. How is this scenario any different?

I just think that West is "the guy" and you don't build confidence in your starting QB by pulling him half way through a game. I will concede that the situation is not any different than what you referenced.

You're right...wonder when we scored only seven pts at half at home?

Fair enough. I just want to see us improving every week. I can even take a loss if it meant that we were improving and doing everything possible to get better. I think the coaches need to take another look at the Qb situation when our starter is struggling.

That is a great question. I honestly cannot remember. Maybe SHSU game in 2012? Weren't we scoreless at half?

Good job by the D fighting through some adversity there. Even if that FG would have gone through they played well on that last set of downs.
