I actually think Coach Kerr has been a quality addition to the defensive staff and the coaching on that side of the ball has improved quite a bit.
As for the offense, they averaged 2.2 yards per carry today and still persisted with running the ball 30 times. Meanwhile, you've got Rubalcaba out here completing 70% of his passes for both the game and the season. Turn the guy loose, let him throw it 40-50 times a game and see what happens, it'll probably be good. He's your best weapon on offense, use him.
Finally, special teams, I think 5 blocked punts in 7 games is all I need to say about that.
Kerr had definitely been a quality addition to the defensive staff. A very pleasant surprise because I really questioned this hire when it was first announced. I thought the game had passed him by based on his most recent resume, but he has proven me wrong. This year's defense is light years better than what we saw last season.
Also, since the question was brought up earlier in the thread, Collins is in charge of special teams. Does it surprise anybody that special teams struggle?
