To All,
Upon arrival at the game on Saturday, I was asked what I think the outcome was going to be at the game. W/O sounding like I am a "Professor", I replied we will win by at least 21 points, we did. :clap: :clap: :clap: Found that SHSU had 21 drop downs, 16 coming in very late, still couldn't help them. They have a good Team, but very nasty after making a tackle. I hate talking negative about other Schools, but something needs to be done when a game is played like that one Saturday. I am not saying EWU are Angels, we did had a few cheap shots, but I think it was in retaliation to what was being done to Vernon, Quincy, etc one each tackle. So much for that. I love the "Bull Rush" that Dylan Zylstra, Mathew Sumner, Ebucam, and others were putting on SHSU O/L. Didn't seem like any team had a defense, we will get much better. Found out we didn't get a tape etc, from SHSU, we did send ours to them, because of the New coaching. BTW our former President Dr "A" and his wife was at the game and was supposed to depart Cheney around 5 am Today. Was great being able to wish them well, and let them know how much they will be missed here at EWU, the replied they will always be Proud of EWU, what they have accomplished. So much for my book. I hope you had better luck than I did reference the DVR of the game. I set my DVR about a week before, and I am still missing about 9 minutes of the last qtr. Even though I was at the game, wanted to see the butt whipping again :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: . I normally get the "add 30 minutes" don't know if I did or not, sometimes there are to much crap before the game comes on. That is my excuse

Thanks for your entry, we appreciate it. Some one had to lose, your team did. It takes class to admit a lost, you are one of them that have class. Of course that is my opinion, others may not think like I do. Our team will get better, and once they continue to strive, I don't think any one can keep up with them, even SHSU, should we meet in the playoffs. This is not bragging, I know what we have for a team and Coaches. I have the confidence in this team, "I promise you they will get "Great" by the middle of the season. Maybe we will meet again at the end of the year, when both teams are in sync.

Attended practice today, team looks "Great". Spoke with AD today, he stated there are less than 300 tickets remaining for the game this weekend. Another "Sell Out"? This is a great. Also Sept 1st, will have approximately 20 Players at my residence @ 3 p.m. for a meal. Will attempt to feed 20 Players every 2 weeks, as long as my health continues as is, until all are fed.
