Final - 2014 Recruiting - 26 Verbals

Jonah Jordan gave his verbal to EWU a month ago. He's playing defensive line, not offense. I also know there's a few more verbals to EWU out there, but I don't know the kids names.

Is Jordan really only 6'2" 265? Does he play defense too?

Yes- he's only 6'2" - Plays both sides of the line and 3 year All league linemen. All 3 of his offers were for both offense or Defensive lines. Air Force, Army, and EWU told him he could pick ether side. Boise St was looking at him for center, until he chose to play defense for EWU. His film link is below.

There we about 25 recruits at today's home along with their families

That's an unreal amount of visits to manage for a huge game like this was. Must have Alabamaesque recruiting budget :-)

Any chance you have all or some of the names of the players in attendance? Gotta be huge that some of these young men see Freshman playing huge roles on the squad. Quite a message, "if you show up ready to play there is a chance for you to get on the field."

Any idea how many scholarships the Eagles will have to offer next year considering we have 22 Seniors listed on the roster?

Does the athletic dept have to pay the University non-resident tuition for kids from out of state or do they get a break and pay in state tuition rates?

Was Conner Baumann, Newport (Bellevue) FB/MLB 6-2 230 one of the recruits who was at Eastern this weekend? Will Ferris from Newport who has verbally committed for basketball and was here visiting tweeted that Baumann might be coming to EWU with him next year. Baumann, who has an offer from Wyoming, was 2012 all-KingCo RB, over 1300 rushing yards, over 10 ypc and 120+ ave per game.

In the pic of Manu Rasmussen, one of Easterns commits, notice the look in the eyes of his team-mate AJ Hotchkins.

Not that I don't appreciate the out of state kids but as cash strapped as the athletic dept is why not place more emphasis on Wash kids, or do they?

What? Dude you need to stay at a Holiday Inn Express and get your head right. 8-) Winning is the best solution for any budget issue and top talent is the secret to winning IMO.
