The lost that surprised me was losing Joe Douglas, DL, from Hanford, maybe football wasn't his thing, just hope he and Will remained to get their education.

Apparently, he said he lost his love for the game. Sounds like he might try to play small college basketball somewhere next year.

Best wishes and best of luck to Joe.

Dozy,
Let Dylan know I am having a meal for the FB Seniors. If he can let as many of the OL know, it seems as if they are kind of late getting the info. It is on Friday, 21 @ 4 p.m. at my residence. Ashton Miller have the information. Have some Special Guest coming so I moved it to 5p.m. This is in appreciation for what the FB Seniors have done for our Program on and off the Field, and in the Classrooms.   :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:. Dozy,
What are the plans for the West Side Big Wigs. Dine and dance is in April. Buy your tickets now save $5.00 person, price goes back up to $100.00 after March 14th. Looking forward to seeing the crew again. I look forward to April before the Dinner Dance, because we have a Scrimmage before the Dinner. Getting those FB Spring Feelings. Hello to the West Side Crew, and hoping everyone is well. Vic

Dozy/ALL
The activity is April 26, 14, @ 4:30p.m. after Red/White Scrimmage. Prices until Mar 14th, are as follows: $95.00 person, $650 for a table of 8. March 15th prices goes up to, $100.00 person, $700.00 for table of 8, which is the regular price. I just love going to see all the Drunks attempting to dance after a few drinks ;) ;) ;). It is a lot of fun. Vic Wallace

Vic, I texted your info to the big fella. I hope he'll be in town. Seems like he's gone doing something fun (fishing, hunting, etc) every weekend during the off season. Oh, to be young again...

We'll be there for the spring game and the Killin. Butorac got the West Side Crew a table again just yesterday so we're good to go. Looking forward to seeing you on the dance floor!

SirGarethThe3rd,
Are you saying we have another committed from UOO? If that is so, someone might be going elsewhere on the team. The more the merrier. Team was on the Turf again today doing some exercises, and sprints. Remember "ALL" @ 4p.m. tomorrow first practice. Just helmets, we will be there. Will miss Saturdays practice. going to Moses Lake to visit my youngest son, he will be there 6 years as Pastor. He is getting a lot of Gang members into his church. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: See some of you tomorrow, who can make the practice. Vic Wallace

Vic;
He has committed to the Eagles but does that necessarily mean he will get a scholarship? It will be interesting to see practice today.
See you there.
Umbrella??

I don't know the situation at all but it appears he is class of 2014 and will walk-on. Colleges typically do not take in 2 QB's on schollies in a class. This feels like a Bowe Merin, Nelson Fishback type of guy who wants to see how he performs in a high level college camp (while redshirting) before deciding to stay, transfer to a JC or lower level college, etc. That path seems to work too as Fishback got a full ride to Western Kentucky after playing at a JC. Again, I don't know anything, he could be part of the 2015 class although that seems unlikely. Just my thoughts. Obviously I hope the kid performs well and wish him all the best.

**I should also say I do not know the situations of Merin and Fishback and why they left. These are just my thoughts after a late QB commit

Why did the kid from McMinnville wait until now to commit? Did someone unexpectly leave the program? Or is he walking on?

Is this still the final list of recruits?
After todays scrimmage I am sooo ready to see fall practice with these guys on the field.
It is amazing the overall level of play by the Eagles now vs 5 years ago- WOW

air045,
Must have been very busy, nothing from you in quite a while. Here is hoping things are well with you and family. Pretty soon the son should be out for some work. Hope he is still committed to EWU. ;) Graduation is next month correct? Vic Wallace

To All,
I've seen quite a number of our Recruits to some of the scrimmages. Their faces looked familiar, until they came up to me and asked are you "Vic"?. They are all very happy they are coming to EWU. To all Parents your young men are coming to an "outstanding University, and "outstanding Program" and we are very happy to have them in our Program and on our team. Thanks to all Parents. Hoping to see some of you soon. Vic Wallace

He's in regions this weekend and state next weekend. graduation is in two weeks and Yes, he's committed and ready for his next chapter at EWU and will be working out with team starting in June. He's been working hard in the weight room and ready to go :thumb: . I'll catch you out there sometime soon!
