The breakdowns on 3rd and long are killing me.

Breakdowns?? We are playing the defending national champs on their field and leading by two TD's
My glass is over 1/2 full!!

well, on their second drive we had them in third and long at least three times where they converted. We have to do a better job getting them off the field. that said offense is playing great so they will have to keep up with us for 60 minutes.

Offense is playing superbly. Big game from Boston is great to see. Team came to play today. D needs to get off the holds or plug the hole and let the LB's flow to the ball... It's gotten a little ludicrous on the no calls.

Yep, both teams will make adjustments at half so we will just have to see. I do know that we need.to create more pressure up front and try to force their young qb into making some mistakes.

I haven’t seen a ton to make that this will be more than a one or two possession either way. Will come down to who makes fewer mistakes.

Well it was a good start to the game but we don't seem to have the same intensity on defense we did early on. They're also getting a lot more pressure on EB3 the past couple of possessions.

They are getting more pressure on him but they’re going to get burned by blitzing like that sooner than later.

should be up 27-14 going into the half but still not in a terrible spot. the offense should be good enough to at least keep us in the game.

This is about the game we all expected. Offense playing well and keeping us in the game. Defense completely atrocious and doing everything they can to lose the game. I’m mystified at how bad the special teams have been. If Dennis Merritt is left to return kicks, I have no explanation. He refuses to fair catch, which costs the offense 5 to 10 yards every time. Plus, I wouldn’t get too excited about a missed long field goal, but a missed XP in a game of this magnitude? Wholly unacceptable.

I said before the over / under on Bison punts was 3, and Eastern only managed 1 in the first half. It’s so damn hard to watch Eastern play defense because it’s so damn soft every game. If the other teams commits to playing physical football, the defense folds. Every. Goddamn. Time.
