I’ve never been a guy to call for people’s jobs, but when it comes to defense and special teams, I don’t see a path forward with the coaches we have now. We can’t even line up right. They’re running for a bazillion yards, and yet we only have four guys on the line of scrimmage with linebackers 6 yards off the ball. It’s like we incentivize teams to do things to beat us.
As for the talent, this simply isn’t a talented team. Can anyone point to more than a couple guys on defense that would start for other Big Sky defenses?

A clear example of misusing a player is Tre Weed. He is a safety. They've had him at corner since Jax St and he is a woeful corner. He is a good safety.
I trust what I see and don't need to waffle when it comes to talent. Eastern has talent everywhere but in the coaching room.

We’re losing 28-0 to Portland State. It doesn’t get any worse than this. I’m hoping to see some serious moves in off-season.
It’s also time to sit Talkington and give someone else a chance. He’s hasn’t shown that he can consistently move the offense all year long. We really have nothing left to lose at this point so I don’t know why we continue with this insanity.
