Good eye, much larger footprint. Wonder if there will be signage or a video board along the top?

Yawn. None of the stuff being talked about is anything new other than the press box (and that's been discussed since the new elevator was built). And even then I doubt it will be anything better than replace in kind of the crappy press box they have now except with better/newer materials.

:coffee:

Lipstick on a pig to do the very minimum to avoid ADA lawsuits. Yay California.

I told the admin no more donations (not like I ā€˜m a whale) until there are drastic facility improvements. Or at least some goddamn bathrooms.

Exterior 1/10

Interior isn’t too shabby

How do you have the opportunity to go full windows across the front , but instead you leave the giant obstructions between the windows - which still have ugly metal frames too btw.

Lipstick on a pig.

Looking at it again - since there is full AC, why do they even need windows like that. If you keep the posts, at least should have done large single panes of glass, have them swing outward on the bottom for airflow and crowd noise if you really want it. Ugh.

Sad Fall address….

Hornet stadium only gets ā€œrusty bolts replacedā€ in the 22-23 budget… at least the nest gets a new video board…

Has there ever been a 'good' fall or spring President address?

The admin finally added more bathrooms on the north end. What more could you possibly want?

To be fair, I didn't notice long lines at the bathrooms and there was over 10k at the opener. At least they finally got something right.

Yay for shi tters! My kids will be thrilled. Hoping to make the rest of the home games!

Does anyone know what actually has to happen to get some movement on stadium improvements? Or Nest improvements….

Can we get some godd@mn artist renderings, or something to build interest?!

Or at least a big video board, or permanent restroom facilities?! I feel like the administration should be striking while the iron is hot with Football and Basketball momentum at all time highs…

But… crickets…

It's like I've always said, THIS IS SACRAMENTO! As far as anything regarding Sac State (especially when it comes to new athletic facilities), people don't want to help. We're a Kings town. People in these parts are more concerned about the Kings ending their long playoff drought. I fear that no matter what the football team does (or what the basketball teams might do), Sac State just isn't going get the students, the alumni, businesses (both large and small) and individuals to open their wallets to make a major contribution. Believe me, I would rather have one of Vivek Ranadive's children as president than Robert Nelsen since he's caught the same disease as that the rest of the town. I'm worried that the detachment between Sac State and Sacramento is just too much to overcome.

Being a fan is all about hope. Keep the faith.

It's not just the school. It's hard to get anything built in this city. Big projects usually require out of town money and vision. So yeah, it's a tall task. It probably won't be a community effort. It will take a big individual donor.
