Very sad and tense moment at the game. Both teams and load of people were praying in the stands. Hope he is ok.

it really was. we had made our way up into the upper lot by the time it happened. I really hope hes ok.

These sort of things really have a way of putting things into perspective. Jake and family are in our prayers.

Jake, his dad and his family (and the surrounding fans who experienced the trauma of emergency CPR and all it entails) are all in my prayers. I don't care a whit about the outcome of the game - I only care about this man's survival and his family. My heart goes out to them.

Well said. Hoping to hear some positive information about all of this.

Couldn't have said it any better Hannah.

I think we ought to take down the name of the player. The school hasn't released, I suspect it may have been a mistake on the police's behalf.

It's up to you all, but recognize that it's all over twitter, facebook, etc. I don't think removing it would change anything. Was also reported by KXLY and others. Now, the police may have made a mistake in the first place, I don't know. But probably moot at this point.

I concur with all that has been said. My wife and I were just in stunned silence as the whole episode was taking place. To see the paramedic go over and talk to The player (it looked like that was the first he had heard that it was a family member) and then see the players gather around him, the big guy sprinting off the field and then the whole team taking a knee. Just broke our hearts and yet made us so proud to be a small part of a great team. I was also impressed by the way the Redbird team responded as well. Very classy. Prayers to the family

Hello - Ill St. fan here. I just want to let you guys know that you are all in our prayers over at redbirdfan. Please keep us updated on Mr. Rodgers's condition and if there is anything we can do.
