Jake Rodgers Dad Medical Emergency.

I did not read the entire thread so I apologize if it's a double post from us NDSU fans, but condolences from Bison Nation and I trust I speak for our entire fanbase. Very sad news for a student athlete to endure in a time of his life he should be celebrating

Prayers are with Jake and his family and you all at EWU

I do not know Jake, his beloved father or the Rodgers family but I pray that they are able to grieve and then find peace in the wake of this awful loss. I pray that they find strength in each other and know that their Eagle family will always be there for them.

tski60,
Sorry to hear the bad news. :( :( :( We are all praying for the family. Jake must "Stay Strong" along with the family, that is what John would have wanted. I know what the family are going through right now. The Eagle Nation are all keeping your family in our prayers. I am glad I had an opportunity to meet John at The Swinging Doors picking up our Football Season Tickets earlier this year. Good Luck to Jake. May God bless all. Stay Strong. Vic Wallace

Sad news indeed.. My thoughts and prayers for all the Rodgers family. This Bobcats prays you find solace in this time of sorrow....stay strong and "Endeavor to Persevere"

loloman,
That was a sad day for all Eagle Nation and friends". Like I have always said, "there are two things we will do in life. That is, "DIE AND PAY TAXES", it is very :( we have to do either. I am sure we all have had some deaths in our life. Here s hoping Jake and family are standing STRONG, especially Jake, he now must help take care of Mom and the rest of the family. When is Todd returning? We drove out there on Monday, it is like a Morgue, no one walking around Campus. Hope you and the family had a Belated Merry Christmas. Have a "Happy New Year" and to all Eagle Nation, and Friends. Take care. Vic Wallace

I'm sure that this hit a lot of Jake's teammates pretty hard. The boys are supposed to be back for winter workouts once school starts so Todd will be living off of home cooking as long as he can before heading back across the mountains. He needs to gain back some of the weight he lost during the season.

tski60,
Outstanding Gesture from the "REDBIRDS". I saw it on KXLY 4 about 07:15 a.m. today. That entire University represent great people. I am so happy for what they are doing to remember "JOHN", know you and the family appreciate that. Hope Jake is doing fine, and is working hard for the invite he received. We all are rooting very hard for that invite, and for the best for Jake. Take care. Vic Wallace

tski60, Here is hoping you and the family are doing ok. Saw Jake in the game earlier this month. Know dad was looking down smiling on him and his team. My wife have been gone now little 15 years, and there is not a day she isn't in my thoughts. Wishing the family all the best in 2015 and beyond. Your Eagle Family. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: Vic Wallace
