Yeah, he ain't playing.

Ya. or at least he shouldn't if you knock someone out and charged with a felony...seems like maybe you're not an EKG.

Try shutting up. :dunce:

What the hell is your problem?
Isn't it obvious? Your "opinion" is just that, put it out here and expect disagreement. Don't care for your virtue signalling. My opinions are my own.

Via DM.

Will post this broadly if you prefer. Would prefer to see good fans like you get on board with supporting the team and little less virtue signalling.

You're acting butt hurt doesn't actually excuse you're poor behavior even if you think it's your place to act as judge and jury in the matter of player indiscretion. Where were you with these edicts on who is or isn't an EKG when GG and Calhoun were suspended for interfering with the police or Williams odd accident. Sorry I had the poor taste to point our your spew isn't very EKG either IMO.

Am sure that every Eag fan is disappointed, some of us are more worried for the young man who has been on the team 5 seasons. Guessing you know what kind of stupid crap can happen after too much alcohol. Living vicariously through this team and players isn't an excuse for taking this personally. We know where you stand. As always, I speak for myself and am not the arbiter of all things right and wrong.

It is out of the fans hands and am moving forward knowing the team has no choice but to do the same.

Telling someone to shut up is not an opinion, it's an order. Huge difference. You are entitled to your opinion and I'm glad you shared it in the DM. That's very different from simply telling me to shut up because of my opinion.

I'm pretty sure that most fans on here will vouch for me being a stand up guy that supports the team over my 10+ years on this board.

Agreed. Forward.

Best still saying it's still in the university's hands.

More appropriately, I’d guess it is in law enforcement’s hands. If they move forward with a felony charge, I’d be quite certain he won’t be playing. I think that might be a university rule that players under felony indictment are suspended indefinitely. I can’t understand any logic in knocking your own brother unconscious, no matter how much you have have drank in a night.

I hope that the charges are reduced for Jay-Tee's sake because a felony will haunt the young man for the rest of his life.

Currently, his draft stock has him as a free agent which could change after workouts/combine.

I'm guessing if he's found guilty it will probably be reduced to a misdemeanor, to my knowledge this is his first arrest.

Alway told my kids when they were growing up "nothing good happens after midnight"

And it gets worse every hour thereafter.

This could be a triple phase call. Depending on the law enforcement call, The University may decide Tiuli eligible to play, if so, Coach Best will make the ultimate and toughest call.

The fact that this fight happened with his brother makes it different to me in a couple ways. Plus, we have very few details on exactly how things transpired other than both brothers fought with each other, Jay-Tee's car window got broken out by his brother, Jay-Tee continued to kick his brother when he went down.

First, fights happen with brothers all the time and rarely result in legal charges and are not necessarily that big of a deal. On the flipside, he is your brother and you DON'T kick them when they are down!!!! They both were fighting, but when your brother is down that should be it and if cops are called someone is going to jail.

Second, both brothers assaulted each other, this was not a one-sided fight, and what stops them from just not pressing charges on each other? If both parties want this dropped, why would they continue to prosecute?

Tiuli needs Perry Mason on this one. Anyone know how this process works?

Interesting. Is Keith Moore usually on the two deep? I was surprised not to see him but with the way we rotate on the dline he may not show up.

Yeah, I noticed that as well. He had the best game of his career against Maine and is the only sort of apples-to-apples guy we can move into Tiuli’s spot.
