L&C seems like they're going to have a good year at DIII, they seemed to have better players the last couple of times PSU faced them. I think PSU is going to contend for top 3 this season despite a new roster. They have a bunch of accurate shooters and some good height. Disappointing that we could only get ONE D1 non-conference game at home. Even the announcer last night commented on how tough it is to get good games. Anyone know what the reason is behind Portland Pilots not wanting to schedule us? They hinted at some heat between the programs. Maybe Legans and Coburn have resentment left from Legans' time at EWU?
Rest of the Big Sky didn't fare too well playing stronger teams this week. It will be interesting to see which teams rise above the others. Northern Colorado could be tough this year.
