They're the happiest bunch I've ever seen about a team being 0-1. It's like they won the superbowl because they ALMOST won a game. Hey, you guys beat the "so-called" mighty Cougars and played Oklahoma "tough" last season, but when you came back to planet earth you still found yourselves 4-8. Seriously, those predicting a 52-10 victory for Utah State needs a slap of reality. You're still Utah State, you're 0-1. Go Wildcats!
 
Well if you would have kept on reading you would have found out they played one of the nations toughest teams and we only played a very poor Wyoming team. Utah State fans have earned the right to put us in our place. After all they are 0-1 and haven't beat Wyoming themselves since the 1970's.
 
Its actually kind of funny, before the Aggies played Auburn, most of them thought the game with us would be pretty close and then after auburn, we lose by 50. :blah:

Im not convinced with Utah State, 2 years in a row they play thier BCS competition to the wire, then only to follow that game up with a loss to a team like Lou Tech. Until USU finishes higher than 6-6, I will remain skeptical of USU football. I think Gary can get USU to be successful, but I'll believe it when I see it.

USU will NOT beat us by 50 points. :tothehand:
 
this 40-50 pt beatdown sure isn't going to happen for them. did anyone see that press conf of mac and anderson it was really cool. ill go get it and start a new thread if i have any time today. anderson is a quality guy who took on a big project...just like mac did at utah and weber! the way anderson talks about mac sounds just like rahe about stew; bust of luck to usu (just lose to us this week is all i require :-D ).

40-50 point beat down? LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL... Wow, the Aggies are experiencing some serious delusion right now. When was the last time they beat anyone by more than 30?

As for the video...it is pretty fun to watch. Mac, as always, is hilarious.

Why do folks always have to exaggerate stuff? Who is picking us to win by 50? There are a few picking us to win by 2-3 touchdowns, maybe a handful saying more. There are also a few saying it will indeed be a close game. It seems like in this thread you've all resorted to mocking a fanbase based on false premises because you've got nothing to stand on yourself. Civility, please.

I have been to your fan board and seen the 50+ point win predictions myself, although its not the majority of Aggie fans.

Hmm, a lesson in civility from the most classless fans in the NCAA. Why don't you go practice your winning team losing team chant? BTW, I believe that someone even had consolidated the predictions.

I dont think Weber wins, but I dont think USU will blow us out. Our offense is good, and our defense will improve. Weber will score, and USU will score. Im keeping my train of thought and saying the aggs win by 10 38-28.
 
But not too lazy to cherry pick the ones you wanted. There was only one person in that whole thread that actually predicted a 50 point win. Most of the others gave Weber credit for scoring in the 20's. On average folks had us beating you by something in the 20's. And I'm perfectly willing to admit that it could easily be closer than that.

And regarding our chants, grow a skin. Come up with something of your own and unleash it on us when we come to Ogden.

I could care less about your chants, but don't give us a lesson in class when your student section has the least. Any aggie fan thinking that they will win by more than 30 points has false illusions of grandeur. You guys lost to Oklahoma last year by a touchdown, only to beat the WORST team in the Big Sky 38-17. Sound familiar to this year? Only Weber isn't a Big Sky bottom feeder. That is the point of my post. Look, we know we're probably not going to win this game, we shouldn't win this game. But we are a lot more competitive than the majority of your fans give us credit for.

I've got no problem with you guys being optimistic about your team. I've got no problem with you guys having a problem with folks on our board predicting a blowout. The only thing I've got a problem with is the pure misrepresentation and exaggeration being used to try and prove a point. When folks start doing that they quickly lose credibility with me. FWIW, I call folks out on our board on this stuff, too.

Oh, and I think you meant to say "I couldn't care less". Saying that you could care less implies that you care some in the first place, but I'm assuming you were going for the opposite effect. And if that is indeed the case, I assure you that I am crushed that you don't care about our chants. It makes me sad.
