Why do folks always have to exaggerate stuff? Who is picking us to win by 50? There are a few picking us to win by 2-3 touchdowns, maybe a handful saying more. There are also a few saying it will indeed be a close game. It seems like in this thread you've all resorted to mocking a fanbase based on false premises because you've got nothing to stand on yourself. Civility, please.

Hmm, a lesson in civility from the most classless fans in the NCAA. Why don't you go practice your winning team losing team chant? BTW, I believe that someone even had consolidated the predictions.

LOL, you just proved BBD's point in this post. Not 1 of those predictions are 50 points or more! So a few people think we beat a Big Sky team by 30 points...I don't see the big deal. Did you see us play Saturday? If not, you'll see why people are so optimistic this Saturday.

Also, one more thing. This smiley represents some of the people this message board so well. :willybs: :willybs: :willybs: :willybs: :willybs:

Hey D-Bag troll, if you can read then you should notice I never said that the Aggie fans were claiming a 50 point victory. I expect this type of reaction from Ags fans. You should stick with analysis of roundball because you don't jack about football. Equating Auburn to the national champions of last year is ridiculous. There's a reason they were barely ranked in the Top 25 and have 8, count 'em, 8 TOTAL returning starters from last year's team. (For Ags fans, there are 22 people who start in football.) With that, I will be the 1st in saying that the Aggies look to be much improved. Just don't celebrate because you haven't done anything yet. You're still 0-1.

Auburn will not make it to a bowl game this year; even though 75% of all FBS teams go bowling. This Auburn team only shares one thing with last season's BCS Champ; the name on their jerseys. Auburn looked sluggish, confused, and inexperienced. With that being stated, I'll admit it, USU looked good last week against a supposedly far superior team (SEC). They moved the ball well, controlled the clock, and were able to limit Auburns offense. What does that tell us? Not a whole lot. However, if USU can't have a winning season and go bowling this year, with the absolute joke of a schedule they have, wow...there should be no hope for Aggie football.

Weber may be an Division I FCS team, but at least we can say we've had 10 win seasons and winning seasons in the past 30+ years.

We'll see about that. Even the worst SEC teams are better than bottom MWC teams.

Are you seriously bragging about 10 win season/winning seasons in the FCS? Yeah, we beat Big Sky teams too, they usually make up most of USU's wins, and isn't USU like 10-1 vs. Weber all time?

:willybs: :willybs: :willybs: :willybs: :willybs:

10 win seasons and winning seasons(WSU) are better than ZERO winning seasons (USU) period.

Dont worry, USU's time to shine is soon approaching, all the GOOD WAC teams are leaving for the Mtn West or have already left that will make it easier for USU to get more than 3 wins in conference.

Well I guess that's why I always see FCS games on tv and ESPN, etc. Because the 10 win seasons mean a lot...wait.

:willybs: :willybs: :willybs: :willybs: :willybs:

You think USU is on ESPN for USU?

USU should feel awesome about being BCS!! They are so highly respected for being one of the "big guys" and going 3-8 every year. What a blessing to be in that outstanding conference of the WAC, with Texas State and Southeast Central Texas Tech in Arlington. Proud of giving away tickets, begging people to watch them get blown out by Boise and Hawaii so they don't become ineligible for the post-season that they'll never reach. AWESOME!

Hanging your hat on a loss, regardless of how close the game was or who the opponent was, shows the pathetic state your football program has been in over the past three decades. I've never seen so much excitement over a loss. And I sure hope the team takes Weber as lightly as their fans are.

With all due respect, Weber's fanbase seems pretty high on a few close losses to some FBS teams...most recently last weekend's loss to Wyoming.
Not this fan. A loss is a loss. No moral victories.
Agreed, we lost and should be upset that we had the game won. Sure there were positives in the game but we are still 0-1.

The fact that it is an agricultural/land grant institution has no bearing on me, I came to Utah State due to a scholarship and for the business school. There really aren't too many Ag majors anymore, just to let you know. Where do we milk bulls?
A. Bulls can't be milked, I don't even have to be an Agricultural major to know that one.
and B. I assume you are referring to the Scotsman, and that action is not actually of cow milking. Where did you hear that?

He might not be talking about milk... other materials from bulls are "harvested"

"I had no idea you could milk a cat"
"Oh, you can milk just about anything with nipples"
"I have nipples, Greg, could you milk me"
Meet the Parents

I am sure USU fans get sick of the Ag jokes as much as WSU fans get sick of the Harrison High jokes.
