Only Sac State, UND and Weber didn't get OOC road wins. It's okay though, according to my sources all of the D1 opponents that our conference mates beat on the road were down or are crap this year.

 :wall:

My take from all of this: PSU has , by far, been the most impressive team in the preseason. Teams who are better than I thought they would be are PSU and UNC. Teams who are not as good as I thought they would be are WSU, ISU, and MSU. Everybody else is playing about like I thought they would. The BSC, as a whole, is much, much better than we have been over the last several years.

Is this a year when more than one team gets into the dance? Probably not, but there are slim chances of something like that happening.

Will anybody run the table? As good as PSU has been, it is still highly unlikely.

Can PSU keep playing at the same level? It will be interesting to see.

What other teams will continue to improve and have a shot at the title? This will also be interesting to see. I hope Weber can do that, but we can't afford any more injuries. We are too thin on experience. :coffee:

KenPom is projecting a three-way tie for first at 13-5 among Idaho, PSU and Montana. They project Weber to finish fifth at 10-5, and they have ISU tying UND for eighth at 7-11. I’d take that for the Bengals.

You must mean 10-8 for Weber.

Did anyone see this gem over the weekend? It contains more slow pitch softballs than the batting cages at Toads.

Yes 10-8. Fat fingers...

6 MSU 173

8 UNC 199

10 UM 238
11 ISU 312
12 UI 336

Oh what a season start in the BSC...ugly Wildcat loss at the DEC (really not that puzzling though) but Portland St losses to Sac St by 5, Montana pummels SUU by 30 & MSU only beats NAU by 3 in OT. Gonna be an interesting Big Sky season if this keeps going. Guess the fans can rest a little easy though, since the regular season doesn't count for much anymore, other than seeding for the "real" season - tournament play time. :ohno:

PSU with all of their PAC12 road wins must have mistaken the nest for Paulley Pavillion. It is going to be an interesting season.

Montana is looking like a beast. Sac State with Strings back might be pretty good. It took Idaho a late rally to beat Sac by 1 in Moscow. Idaho State will be 3-0 after this weekend. PSU will likely be 0-3 after this weekend. Olds may have correctly predicted the anual PSU conference meltdown when we were busy giving them so much love.
