Match Ups from around the Big Sky

I just checked realtimerpi.com, and the conference jumped last night up to 14! I hope the conference as a whole can survive the rest of December, which should bode well for the big dance.

PSU picked up another road win. Idaho beats a Pac 12 team and Weber gets dismantled by UVU. The rest of the Big Sky has gotten much better. But "Just Enough Jerry" Bovee is content with how Rahe handles the OOC schedule.

Rough day for the conference going 1-8 with 2 home losses. But PSU continues to impress, getting the conference's lone win and their 4th road win of the season at Santa Clara. PSU now 8-0 ATS and SUU now 7-0 ATS.

Was looking into PSU a little and see that their HC, Barret Perry is a native of Payson, played at Snow and SUU, and has coached at SUU, Snow, UVU, and Utah.

Look into PSU and you see that what they are doing is pretty impressive. Perry is doing it mainly with Geving's guys. But the program lost 5 Seniors from last season, including the #1 and #3 scorers on the team. He has brought in a Freshman in Woods that is the 3rd leading scorer, 4 JC guys who are playing mainly reserve roles, and a Grad Transfer from Gonzaga. And they're doing it all without a home gym while the Stott gets remodeled.

psu is really kicking some :butt:

i love their neutral and away schedule. psu schedule should be its own thread.

its now dec 11 and psu has played 0 home D1 games ...they dont even have home D1 game actually and look at that record. for some reason all home games are being played at Lewis & Clark. does this mean they are really getting that new venue built? i was at psu for our football game. i guess i didn't notice any construction.

they have played some neutral games at the "energy solutions" and "salt palace" equivalents but 0 on campus.

they are 8-2 at this point. 7 of 11 games weren't at home and even the 3 home games aren't at home. psu is 4-0 in true away games. this is a really tough schedule. even in big sky play they don't get a home game in the first 2 weeks.

from dec 3 to jan 10 they play 1 home game.
during the same stretch wsu plays 6 consecutive games at the dee

ill start a new thread

from nov 21 to jan 10 they play 2 home games.

The NoDaks take the Zags to OT; SUU takes down Central Michigan; while Weber throttles some 0-11 team. Harding fun to watch, the team as a whole? Not so much.

How does No Dak take the Zags to OT? Weird. No Dak has looked bad this season and were 30 pt dogs.

C Mich had won 7 straight coming into the game. SUU now 8-0 ATS.

This isn't your fathers Gonzaga and SUU is much better this year with the transfers they brought in. I predict that Gonzaga will struggle to be in the top 3 of the WCC.

Lost in OT too to Utah Valley.

Cortez Seales had a big day and he has been absent recently as someone in his family died.

Crandall, Creighton transfer Stewart and Iowa transfer Jones had a good game too. We don't have a bench to speak of.

This team looked promising in the Hawaii tournament, but for most of December they simply didn't jel.

This post is proof that nothing the schedulers could do will ever be good enough. When people start whining about playing Div.1 opponents at home.

Lets be honest. A P-B was nothing more than a D2 school. 0-12, and it was like playing West Coast Baptist all over again. His post just proved that we don't get good teams here.

Was APB 0-11 when the game was scheduled?

People cant whine about wanting more Div.1 teams on the home schedule and then when some are scheduled cry because they arent who they wanted.

Its childish and incredibly petty.
