Question to the McNeese folks...
How does your turf hold up when being played on after a lot of rain for the week prior?

Normally, it is pretty decent. But in 2000 it rained about two weeks in a row everyday and we had two home games in a row. The second game was with Nicholls St the last game of the season and was played in 30 degree temps in a misting rain. After all the rain for two weeks and a game before, we ended up with this.

Needless to say, they totally reworked the field since then and I don't know if it would ever get like that again. Right now the field is in the best shape I've ever seen it. Walking on it taking pictures yesterday, it was like a plush golf course fairway.
Of course, we are getting artificial turf after this season and won't have to worry about it next season.
Unless we have a lot of rain in the next week or so, expect a fast track for the game.

P.S. I'll be putting up my pictures from Cowboy Night up tonight and will try to remember to post a link here.

Yes, Hilo leads in the United States overall but if you read the second paragraph, this study is talking about the continous 48.

This is much better than had been expected. By the end of the first quarter it will be 75 and feel like 79.
PSUVikings said:All I can MSU fans is you are not playing Tim Walsh's "We will fall under expectations every season" Viking football team. This new era and the hype around it may consume the Cowboys. Good luck in 10 days but not really. /users/31/07/37/smiles/595146.gif

I hope the McNeese fans will have their hankies at the game for all the tears they will shed. /users/31/07/37/smiles/mw_thumb.gif
