• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.
  • Hi Guest, want to participate in the discussions, keep track of read/unread posts and more? Create your free account and increase the benefits of your eGriz.com experience today!

Thanks for the continued support. Cheers!

Montana embarrasses the Big Sky again. (Again).

It seems to me like when a Mt player gets in trouble someone is in the hospital with a fractured skull or a victim of rape, when a EWU player crosses the line it is too much Bud Light.

Or drive by shootings. Didn't you have that one recently. Yes you did.

Not that I am aware of. There was one in the center part of the state in Quincy last summer. Maybe you are thinking of the suspect held up in Shopko in Billings last weekend. Cops killed him. Was he a recruit or former player?

Every program will have its bad eggs. The difference is how the program/university handles it. In any situation I can remember that EWU players got in trouble, it was immediately followed with dismissal from the team or suspension.

THAT is the difference.

Are you suggesting that the GRIZ won’t dismiss a player who has committed a felony? If so, I suggest you support such a contention with factual evidence. Best of luck to you in your searches. I hope you have a GREAT deal of time and a really fast connection.

Same type of charge Trumaine and Kemp had A couple years ago, right? They sat out 1 qtr against a D2 as their punishment, correct?

Who was coaching then? I agree that Pflugrad was far too lenient. That is the absolute OPPOSITE of Stitt. Not only would Gage and Calhoun be gone for 2 games after this if Stitt were their coach, but they’d have to earn their way back as the starter. And I fully support that.

You are spot on. Stitt has set a new precedent and its harsher than most.

I was at a meeting and Lou Holtz was the guest speaker. The topic was discipline and consistancy. He told of an incident where a player was late for a team meeting and Holtz sat him for the next game. He said a fan asked him how could you bench one of your key players for a small infraction? He said I didn't do that the player did when he chose to come late to the meeting.

Just giving you a hard time, never fun to deal with players getting in trouble...

And I agree stitt has done a good job with discipline
