Montana Game

The coaches had two weeks to get ready for UC Davis at home and another to weeks for Montana at home (sort of). They didn't do it for Davis and they didn't do it for Montana. In this next week do you really think they can do for Montana State on the road? I hope you are right.

I think bye weeks hurt us. Coaches tinker too much and the kids don't play. I think getting in a rhythm will help. I hope...

Alan, if I'm going to give faith the benefit of the doubt here, it's that the transitive property has mostly crashed and burned in this conference and October only started yesterday. Box of chocolates and all that.

Very, very good!

I'd say we have a case of beating ourselves and good teams don't do that. The interceptions and penalties are what did us in during the Griz game, special teams and penalties did us in during the Davis game. The defense looked strong against the FBS schools, then disappeared once we got in to conference play. We also had very few penalties against BYU and OSU, now we seem to just not be able to control our emotions. We've showed we can play smart, but we've certainly looked really dumb the last two games. We can win this game at Montana State, but we have get back to playing like we did at the beginning of the year. Consequently, we play like we did against Montana (yes, there was improvement), or we play like we did against Davis, and the Bobcats will splatter us all over the field.
