Montana State @ Eastern Washington: GDT

Custer as of late has really turned into the dynamic runner this team has lacked since Taiwan Jones. That running threat is really going to pay dividends down the road, especially if they make the playoffs this year (which they should).

Yup, from the 40-something we could score. From the 15, we'll probably just run the clock out. Really stupid.

At the half, Gubrud is 19/20 for a modest 145 yards and a TD. We're out gaining MSU on the ground 136-133, which I guess is a little surprising. Good balance in this game. The D just needs to get their offense off the field quicker. This is basically the type of game Choate wants to be in. We need to start dictating the tempo in the second half. Quick three and out from the D and then let 'er rip.

They have done a pretty good job of limiting our offense but I don't think it will be enough for MSU unless they get a lot more stops.

I just noticed that we held the ball for 17:13 in the first half. Good stat; I thought they had a clear TOP advantage.
