This is my unofficial, subjective, and driven by few statistics predictions for the remaining top teams in the BSC.
I think the outcomes of games for potential playoff teams this weekend are:
EWU > UND
CAL POLY > MSU
NAU > WSU
ISU > PSU
SAC ST > UM

I don't think CAL Poly is very good, they won't beat MSU. I also can't imagine Montana losing at home to a team as bad as Sac State. The other predictions look correct to me.

CP should give MSU a good run for their money. I also believe the game is in SLO. You're probably right about CSUS, though. I don't think they'll beat Montana at home, but if they do...the wheels will have truly fallen off of Montana's season.

SECOND ROUND

SHSU-Chattanooga winner at #1 North Dakota State

UNI-EKU winner at #8 Richmond

SCSU-Liberty winner at #4 Jacksonville State

ISU-JMU winner at #5 Coastal Carolina

SELA-Cal Poly winner at #3 Eastern Washington

NAU-Montana winner at #6 Illinois State

Pioneer-Villanova winner at #7 Youngstown State

Bryant-Fordham winner at #2 New Hampshire

Obviously, this guy's opinion plus $.50 will get you a newspaper, but you really see the difference between being the 2 seed and the 3 seed. In the odd chance this works out, we'd get a credible opponent in the winner of SE Louie and Cal Poly. The 2 seed would get the Bryant-Fordham winner, meaning basically a cakewalk to the final 8.

Indeed. The number 2 seed is way too easy. Even the number one seed is more difficult.

I want to be on NDSU's side of the bracket. I'm sick of waiting for our team to get a chance to knock off the champs, but just barely missing the opportunity.

EWU can do it. We match up against NDSU better than any other team in the FCS. If EWU fails, we can at least make it a hell of a game. Play to beat the champs, then become the champs.

"Bite off more than you can chew, then chew it."

I disagree completely. If we meet I want it to be in Frisco. If we play before that it will most likely be in Fargo and I respect that team too much to be wanting to play a playoff game in their house.

First things first...beat Montana, then PSU. We are not a lock for the playoffs at this point with only 7 DI wins, and if we drop our final two games we're out.

Had to pull an all nighter last night. I think that is making me a ridiculously cocky fan. That disclaimer aside....

We are going to playoffs. I guarantee it.

It's not an easy road ahead of us, but I think you're right.

You won't make it to the playoffs.

Man, what a classy name! You fricken SHSU fans need to stay off our board! At least when the Griz fans get on here, they try to represent their fan base well!

How does everyone see this shaping up? Does anyone think we could still grab a top 3 seed?

Although I don't know how they determine the seeding, I know that Eastern is one of the three best teams.

This bracket has us as the 5 seed.
