Has anyone figured out from looking at the NCAA site, which side of the field is the Eagles side - or don't they designate it until after the teams are set? I'm itching to buy my game tickets!!!!
 
Delaware wins so it will be the Eagles agains the Blue Hens....when someone finds out what side the eastern section will be lets post something so we can all sit together. I'm sure Eastern's website will have some information by Monday.

I can't stand it no more!! Even you Ranger ! and the rest of the posting world, ya all thought we had little to none of a chance to win this game! I posted in week 4, this team had something strange going on. New QB, undersized O-line, mediocre secondary, no depth, well GUESS WHAT ???? It happened, close game after close game, little or no respect, couldn't win without TJ,defense is saving our asses!!! This TEAM is A TEAM with or WITHOUT TJ!!!! Mario follows his blocks better, the O-line DROVE Nova off the ball and BLM had his BEST day as an EAGLE, all this and ONE game to go!!! The D was stellar, but for me ball control was more impressive, likes blogs prior to the game, the O-line needs to step up !!!~ Boy did it ever! controlled the line of scrimmage, won the possesion game, and made crucial 3rd and 4th down conversions!!! You say game ball defense ? I say game ball offensive line!! But in reality, game ball TEAM, awesome!!! Already got 8 tickets and a flight for Texas, like the team said after the game, on the field, to the man, it's not over, ONE MORE GAME!!!! GOEAGS!
 
All, I talked to an employee in the Athletic Department about tickets to the NC/Charter Info, Tickets etc..They will not receive any information until Monday. With that said, I guess the athletic department might be forced to purchase 1,000 tickets (EWU section) weather they can sell them or not. It's an NCAA mandated deal. EWU Athletics is hoping that as many EWU fans as possible purchase tickets through the EWU ticket office and not go through the NCAA/Frisco/Etc. In addition, they said there will be travel packages available that the NCAA puts together that includes, flight/hotel/transportation/tickets, etc....So stay tuned to GOEAGS.COM on Monday. Spread the word to Eag Nation!!!

Unless it is something completely new, the NCAA doesn't do travel, though most schools have deals with particular travel agencies that operate game packages.

From DE, you can get a self developed package including a flight from PHL to DFW, hotel for a night and rental car for just under $400 person.
 
Congrats on making the championship game...I'm a Georgia Southern Alum and have attended 3 of our national championship games and there's nothing like it. I'll be rooting for EWU in Frisco and I hope to meet a few of you at the tailgate beforehand as I live 15 minutes from the stadium.

I thought I would offer a little travel information for those of you who aren't familiar with the area. Staying close to the stadium isn't a bad idea, but there's a huge mall with an IKEA, Dave & Buster's, indoor ice skating rink, and all the shopping and dining you could ask for just south of the stadium in Frisco...not a bad place to stay.

If you're looking for a real "Texas" experience, I would try to book a place in the Fort Worth Stockyards. Even if you don't stay there, head down on Saturday for a great time, great food and Texas hospitality.

For those of you coming down, enjoy yourselves...you only get so many opportunities at a championship...Go Eagles!

Whaa??? I never had any doubts. ;)

To be honest, I honestly expected us to win. I thought it would be difficult without TJ, only because we have relied on him so much. I still think he is by far the best back in the country at the FCS level. That said, I knew our defense was going to come to play. I just felt like our O-Line would have to show up, and Mitchell needed to play his best game of the season - both of which happened! :D
 
i will have to admit, i did not expect our running game to be as sound as it was. brown (true frosh) looked stellar. yes, made a couple of mistakes with the fumble and then got thrown out of bounds late in the game to stop the clock but overall that game was superb.

Mario impressed me and it looks like life after TJ in 2 years will still be good at the Running Back position...
