I'm bummed!
Can't make it that day due to prior commitments out of town.
Hope this is like a HUGE pep rally to thank the coaches and players for an awesome year. Get your friends and family together to pack and rock the house!
Don't forget to recognize our outstanding AD. I don't feel Chaves get nearly the credit he deserves for bringing the football and all of athletics to the level it is now.

Wish you could be there Clawman but we will have multiple celebrations of this epic season and we will make sure we do one soon where you and other EAA stalwarts can attend. Completely agree, our Athletic Director led us here in his quiet way.

Happy to be home, still have a silly smile on my face. What a season, what a game and what a program. Thank you Dick Zornes for building the foundation. We missed you in Texas Coach but hope you are feeling better. This is your championship too Coach. Great to see Mike and Kat Roos in Frisco, Michael hasn't played for us for years but still helping us win games. And championships. Go Eagles! See you at spring ball and at Husky Stadium Labor Day weekend.

Just finished watching a great game between the Eagles and the Delaware Blue Hens. As an alumnus of the University of Montana and having enjoyed many great games between the Eagles and my Griz, I had to hurry in here and post my congratulations to the 2010 season FCS national champion Eagles. Feels good, huh? You'll enjoy seeing that national champions flag fly over Roos Stadium next fall.

Thanks Jayman, to be honest, it feels good just thinking about seeing that national champions flag fly over Roos Field.

Does it come in RED?

As it stands right now, the flag should be unfurled for the first time just before the game against Montana State.

I am happy to hear how much interest there was in watch parties. Understand a number of bars were turning people away. This tells me there is interest, it is now the challenge to keep giving reasons to come to Cheney. I am confident we will see a nice bump in season ticket sales (especially if they saw the great pic of our ticket mgr :lol: )
It has been a great season, month, and day, to be an Eagle.

DITTO! and thanks also for thinking of panning back into the crowd to show that despite some of the articles to the contrary (especially in the Delaware press), the crowd was not totally comprised of UD fans with a small continent of red EWU fans. I got really tired of hearing that in the press and on the fan boards ...

The attendance was announced as 13,027, well short of the 22,000 capacity. But a large majority of those fans were wearing Delaware's colors.
