So our next game is on Tues. I'm hoping we don't have to play NAU that's the one team we don't match up well with. I think we can beat them but its been a tough opponent this year. I'm hoping to snag some student section tickets for both games. I can't wait for a possible chance to play on ESPN 2 and a chance to cut down the nets on national television. First things first we have to win on Tues. I'm hoping Montana St. can play somewhere near NAU and possibly make it a game. I don't see Eastern beating Weber two straight times at home. GO BEARS!

BTW just wondering if there is any chance UNC might play at the Pepsi center if they make the tournament. If anyone has any info into that I would be all ears.

I was just going to post the same thing about NAU. That's the one team that scares me the most. We don't match up well with them. Although Devon did have an unusually "off" night against them on Saturday and I don't think that would happen again. As for the Pepsi Center, they're hosting the 2nd round, so if we make it that far it's possible.

I think the first round this year are the play in games....So i think this years 2nd round is last years 1st round.
I'm not positive..

I don't understand how the winner of the BSC is supposed to get an automatic birth to the playoffs but now that team only gets a play in game? WTF?

I think they just decide about RPI and strength of schedule. It does suck, a berth should be a berth plain and simple.

I just went to look for tickets and its already sold out. The tickets went on sale at 10 am.. Anybody know about student tickets?

The play in game is a berth. If NoCo, Montana, NAU, or Weber wins we won't be in the play in game though..IMO because of the following 2 highlighted below:

The following are the members of the 2011 NCAA Tournament Selection Committee:

Eugene Smith - Chair - AD at Ohio State
Stanley Morrison - AD at UC-Riverside
Jeffrey Hathaway - AD of Connecticut
Lynn Hickey - AD of UT-San Antonio
Mike Bobinski - AD of Xavier
Dan Beebe - Commissioner of Big 12
Doug Fullerton - Commissioner of Big Sky
Ron Wellman - AD of Wake Forest
Steve Orsini - AD of SMU
Scott Barnes - AD of Utah State

Awesome thanks WSUnPurple... BTW anybody know if Weber fans are going to make the drive? I'm assuming you guys will beat Eastern.

I can't speak to all the details on tickets, but something to keep in mind is that SOME tickets may come open Monday. There is a morning deadline for season ticket & corporate ticket holders to confirm their seats. IF that deadline passes without a purchase by current holders, those tickets will go on sale.

Scott will probably be able to better fill in details, but I know he had not been to bed as of 3am, so he's on a delayed schedule today

Yea, that deadline is at 8:00 am monday. I would call the ticket office and talk to them as I have found the on-line source does not always tell the real story

K thanks Troy. I'm just curious if students seats are sold out as well.

There is a ticket allotment for other teams and whatever they don't use goes back on sale Mon morning. I called the ticket office and all it says in a recording is that all the tickets are sold out.

Exactly why it should be held at a larger arena.

From experience attending the last two tournaments in Ogden, don't expect to see many out of town fans. You may see a few Weber or Montana fans (assuming Weber makes it to Greeley), but the other teams don't even draw any fans to their own home games.
