My prediction is the Eagles will win by three on a last drive and FG kick by Roldan Alcobendas
That was the politically correct prediction, here is how I really feel.
If we can't bury these guys by at least three TD's we don't have a snowballs chance in hell of beating either of the Dakota schools in Frisco.
Go Eagles!!!

Way to go! After re watching some of the Jax St and Weber contests for Maine, I don't think they have what it takes to keep this close assuming all other factors (TO's, penalties) are equal.. The team is ready.

Go Eags.

This will be my first game in two years....nervous as it is not a time I can usually risk taking off of work (very busy day in the restaurant biz, all hands on deck), bought tickets for me and some friends, and hope to heck I can make it!

I'll add...the only semifinal game I've been able to attend in person was...Villanova.

Recent article on the game from a Maine perspective: BTW, we have a linebacker named "Clark" Kentner Kupp...

Maine’s defense allows 21.3 points a game, Eastern Washington 21.8. The Eagles are led defensively by senior linebacker Kenter Kupp, who has 97 tackles, including four sacks. Sophomore linebacker Chris Ojoh is next, with 87 tackles.

I think EB3 will run for over 100 yards and a score and will throw for over 300 and 2 Td's to Boston with McPherson being bottled up with his slower speed for only 50 yards with our other 3 RB's combining for another 50 and Ketner will block a kick which will give us momentum going into half and our defense will pick off the Maine QB twice one for a pick-six to put the nail in the coffin.

Eags 31 Maine 17

Me too then rushed the field after that win !!!

24-17, EWU. It’ll most likely come to the last drive. Probably be down at half time then inspirational speech from Best will light a fire under their ass.

Bookmaker one of the biggest off shore bookmakers just posted their FCS lines and has EWU 14 pt favorites and NDSU 11.5 pt favorites.

I just don't see it. EWU should be favored in my opinion...in the 3-5 point range. Take the points.

The Betting line may support your contention but the facts belabor what really took place with U.C. Davis.
The odds out of Vegas are in Maines favor...I don't make these things up either. I can sense a certain paranoia
with your team right now...and some EWU fans are starting to question...This is all good for Maine...

But that being said this is going to be a tight game from the start. I think it will come down to turnovers
and which team can capitalize on those turnovers.

https://sportschatplace.com/cfb-picks/2 ... prediction

The Eastern Washington Eagles are a good football team, but they're lucky to even be in this game, as they needed 20 fourth quarter points and a last minute touchdown to beat UC Davis. The Maine Black Bears pretty much dominated a sharp Weber State club, allowing negative rushing yards and forcing four turnovers. While one week is just that, you have to be a bit more positive about Maine right now. The Maine Black Bears are playing with house money and riding high on the confidence. Maine has a very aggressive defense and is more than battle tested. I'm taking the points here.
