The Hornets defense shut down NAU when they needed to and did something no team has done this season - force multiple game-changing turnovers. Hornets won a tough one. Well played, Sacramento State. For whatever reason, you have NAU's number there it seems.
With the three brutal upcoming games left, that may have been the death knell for NAU's post-season hopes?
Best of luck to the Hornets the remainder of the season.

so I will go out on a limb and predict today will provide a bigger dose of Dailey than anyone expects, McCowan will have a breakout performance, the Defense will have their best outing yet. Reed and Hendershott continue to bring down jump balls put up by Smith for critical third downs and scores.
Sac State by a small margin in front of the smallest crowd of the year so far.
We will be lucky to see Dailey in a Sac State uni ever again, his shoulders are torn up.Dos Centavos said:so I will go out on a limb and predict today will provide a bigger dose of Dailey than anyone expects, McCowan will have a breakout performance, the Defense will have their best outing yet. I suck at predictions! Dailey didn't play a down!
Great game!

He has had one shoulder cut on while in Washington and it's torn up again, the other one is now torched and requiring work. The line is "we will wait and see" but the true feelings are that first shoulder can be repaired again for normal living but will not take football without damage. I did not question if the young man was tough or not, I only stated what I had been told. Bo Jackson was a tough guy but his hip took him out of the game.SactoHornetAlum said:Winghunter said:We will be lucky to see Dailey in a Sac State uni ever again, his shoulders are torn up.Dos Centavos said:so I will go out on a limb and predict today will provide a bigger dose of Dailey than anyone expects, McCowan will have a breakout performance, the Defense will have their best outing yet. No more than Hilliard's shoulders were at the end of last season. And Hilliard could play now but we dont want to burn his redshirt. Dailey will prob have to have the same kind of surgeries Bryan had and will bounce back. Tough player if you ask me....
