Good point. Nicholls and San Diego won their conference. Guessing the Montana AD didn't help us out there and Hawkins is an interesting story to the FCS. Not to mention, making the path harder is like pre wounding the gladiator before the fight. Got to take them one at a time.

I'm not sure you understand how seeds work, chief. Why would they be slotted after us? Same record, similar sos, and they beat us. I don't think the committee considers us having an off game into their decision making.

Based on the body of work I think Weber is very deserving of their #2 seed. I'd argue not playing at home in the Semi's might help .

My biggest concern is playing a pissed off UC Davis team that we ridiculously ran the score up on 2 weeks ago.

I think this team is more than capable of making it to Frisco.

Yup. I thought about those late TDs to run up the score against UC Davis as well. I think Eastern wins if they play again, but Best and Reeder sure gave them some locker room bulletin board material.

And FWIW, Weber had to be above Eastern. There was no way around that. They won the game, and that needs to matter.

Yeah I don't want to live in a world where head to head results aren't the primary consideration. I think we are better than Weber, but they are 1-0 against us.
