There are at least two games before the rematch can happen, Weber has the easier path IMO but no gimme. Eastern faces a conference champion and than possible rematch with BSC co-champ Davis. For the record, Jay Hill is a good coach. Know he will have the his team ready. There is a chance neither team makes the rematch. Eastern has about an 75% chance of beating all teams in their part of the bracket and Weber about the same in aggregate per the Massey tool. You won't like what it suggests in a possible rematch. Like I said before, time will tell

And computers and "experts" can try to predict or guess at outcomes but the only one that matters is the actual outcome. Eastern has been hot as of late but they havent played a top defense since Weber. Time will indeed tell. I like Weber's chances...In Ogden or Cheney.

That may be true but Weber also faced a rather inexperienced QB who who went 19-42 for 185 yds and 2 int's last time out. He also only ran for only 18 yds.
If we happen to meet again this year that inexperienced QB will be experienced and the offense game plan will not be the same. You will see a different team whose QB will have better results.
Weber hasn't seen an offense as good as ours NOW since Utah.
I like our chances (if we happen to meet) in Odgen.

Again true, ISU's QB had a pretty good game but your vaulted D stopped their run game. Our new offense runs more and runs efficiently.
The Jake/Josh show at WSU is forreal and your D is nationally recognized.
I do hope you guys lose before you play us as I prefer playing at home if/when that time comes.

I just think a lot of Eagle fans feel as though we are a different team now than we were at that point in the season. Although our offense is quite a bit different now than in years past it’s always been reliant on really good qb play. Barriere is really starting to come along so I think a lot of us are feeling a lot more confident now than we did in his second start against weber. That’s not taking anything away from weber. We all know that if we meet again in the semi’s it’s going to be really tough to get a win in ogden. I think weber has had more recent success against us than any other big sky team. But you’re right let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Both teams have a lot of work to get to that point.

Weber State is literally the 2nd best team in the nation, hence the number 2 seed. I believe in the seed system so much that not only do I believe Weber State DESERVES the #2 seed, but I must also believe that Weber State is better than Eastern, because if I believed Eastern is better than Weber State, I must also believe Weber shouldn’t be the number two seed.

Which they did. Hence why everyone responded. It's fine if you believe Eastern is better than Weber despite losing to them, but saying Weber didn't deserve a top 4 seed with a 9-2 record, Big Sky title, and 4 top 25 wins is a little different.

I say EWU wasn’t EWU that game (because of the QB situation), and WSU loses that game if it’s played a week or two later. I also say WSU’s loss to unranked NAU backs up that point. Therefore WSU is NOT BETTER THAN EWU, (and possibly not better than UCD either) AND DOESN’T DESERVE THE #2 SEED.
Point is, you can’t say “WSU deserves the #2 seed”, and also believe EWU is a better team. BOTH CANT BE TRUE!!

There is nothing tangible which says that Weber should be placed below EWU, but there is something tangible which says they should (the head to head). Therefore, Weber deserves the number 2 seed.
We all know EWU wasn't top form against Weber and are better than that, but that isn't evidence. We know we will win in the semis, but that isnt how seeding works. Weber deserves the second seed, but they have an ass kicking coming.
