I think it's time for some revenge, this loss last year cost us Home court in the tournament, I say we go up to Pokeytato and run the Bengals out of thier own Gym.

It's a rivalry, so I think we can expect to see again what we saw yesterday. Winning on the road is never easy, and it doesnt seem to matter how good either team is. Idaho State will be gunning for us on Monday, we cannot let them get any momentum or confidence or we could see a re-run of last year (shudders).

Idaho State is 2-11 overall 1-3 BSC, thier two wins on the year coming against Montana-Western and Northern Colorado. The Bengals play at Southern Utah on Saturday, if you have any spare time it probably wouldnt hurt to check the game out.

Go Wildcats

wish i could go. i cant stand missing this game up in poca. last yr is a great example of why it is no guarantteed win. they like beating us more than any other team.

When I was a student, back in the early 70s, we used to love goinmg to games in Pokey, wearing or WSC gear, and then going to a local pizza joint/bar after we kicked a little buttox. There were no fights, just a lot of fun. I haven't been able to get up there for a few years, due to my other basketball commitments. However, I will be following the game on the net.

Go Wildcats!

ISU 54 - SUU 53 in Cedar City. Is ISU better than we think? SUU crushed them on the boards but didn't make many shots. ISU shot just a little better. Enough to win.

This is really gonna be a tough one, with two wins in a row, ISU will have a lot of confidence, Weber's players must keep their heads together.

I think SUU made a huge mistake in spending all of their energyand prep time on us. They were flat and not prepared for ISU. I watched that game last night. SUU had no hop in their step, no confidence, and seemed to lack preparation. They were playing in the shadow of Thursday's game; much like UNC after they played us and then traveled to ISU. Teams are preparing for us and then falling flat in the next game. That tactic may be a big mistake. That is exactly why an improving ISU may help us the most over the next few years. Teams are not going to be able to look past ISU, as an automatic win. Same thing goes for SUU. If they get stronger, it will help us. I want teams to be forced to prepare for ISU and SUU at the same time they will be playing us.

ISU had to extend themselves last night. They had a highly emotional game. Now they have one day to prepare for us. I like our chances even more at this point. :thumb:

We win 85 - 61.

The more I think about it, ISU should send us a thank you card. We may have contributed greatly to their two league wins. In both of those wins we took the wind out of the sail of that opponent two days prior. I'm not sure how to take ISU's win last night, as far as ISU is concerned. It was a hard fought, emotional win for them. It should help their confidence. On the other hand, after that expenditure of emotion and energy, it's hard to come back in two days and come close to matching it. I'm not sure how ISU might respond to what is, arguably, their biggest game of the season, so far. :ugeek:

If you're coming up to the game, dress warm. It was minus 2 this morning, and it will be in the 50s in the dome. Travel safe, always look forward to seeing the Weebs.

So it's freaking freezing up there to huh?

On Hill it's exactly 0 degrees :wall:

Looking forward to the game, been to a Weber game up in Pocatello once before, but unfortunately being a monday I wont be able make it. Love rivalry games, gonna be a good one.

On to the Potatoes. I watched them against SUU. I was very surprised at the outcome. I thought SUU would win by at least 15 points. You could tell ISU really wanted to win and that SUU was not into it. They looked aweful. Maybe the loss to us took thier confidence or whatever. ISU played hard too and deserve lots of credit for the win. I am still in shock from the game last year in Pocatello when we lost. We could come out flat and they could get thier confidence and make a game of it. This year I don't see it. I bet they are pretty tired and worn out from Saturday night and I know Coach Rahe is going to remind them of last year. On paper Weber should win by 20+. Looking at the starters and comparing them we have the advantage at every position. Their guards are decent, but not amazing. Morgan is their best player and he is just decent. I think we come out hard right out of the gate and make a statement. Weber State wins. 84 59.

I think the days of anyone looking past ISU are over. Their coach has got them playing D and that will keep them in a lot of games. They will get stronger on the O through recruiting and hard work. The future looks bright for them, at least a lot brighter than it has for several years. :thumb:

And it is time for another bengal beatdown like the one 2 yrs ago... LOOOOOOOOOOOL!! Snuggled up with my newborn son ready to watch his first Weber State game... Yee uh!

What's keeping #IdahoState in this game? 10 Weber State turnovers, 10 Idaho State pts off turnovers. WSU hasn't scored off a turnover.
