The Hornets Against That School Across the Causeway

This is it! I have listened to there pathetic UCD games on 1140 (where we should be) and they are not that good. The Hornets have heart, talent, and skill! This will be another inevitable Hornet win. The Aggies have been struggling all season, and you can tell Biggs is ready to retire. Let’s bring it back home for a WIN! GO HORNETS!

HORNETS 23
Aggies 10

GO HORNETS!

Sorry to be a curmudgeon, but our defense is unable to prevent on average 36pts a game. As much as I hate the laggies, they will score at least 36pts. Plus, I am not convinced with MBT and Smith is made of glass. One RB and the Laggies have revenge on their minds. We have only been able to piece together one half this year. Plus, Davis blasted CP and CP blasted Sac, I'd say Davis is pretty good and a champion of their tough conference.

Davis Laggies 45
Sac Triage 27

Death
Taxes
Hornets have a losing record, winning record making excuses
Absolutes in life

GCM, the CP at the beginning of the season is not the same CP team now...and we are a better team than at the beginning of the year....plus, "That School" would struggle big time if they were in our conference...

Sagarin ratings for conference......

14th Big Sky
15th Great West

Looks pretty equal to me as far as quality.

Looking forward to the game at your world class track and field facility.

And yet Sperbeck and Co have managed to out-recruit “the farm extension” with it… not to mention it seats twice as much as Aggie Stadium.

Awesome! It seats twice as much! Wow, those bleachers and press box sure make Aggie Stadium look like a dump. Yeah, you are right, Hornet Stadium is better.

As for out-recruiting, I am not so sure about that. Hornets played much better last year against the Ags, nobody can argue that. But in terms of making strides from last year to this year, it doesn't look like the Hornets have done so well. Of course injuries have decimated the RB core for the Hornets, but come on.
When was the last time Sac State had a winning season in Division I?

If Smith can't play, it is going to be a long day for the Hornets. Just try not to get caught spraying Pam on your jerseys before the game.

Wow, you guys have a lot of anger directed at the Aggies, from 1140AM covering UC Davis Football to Sochor Stadium. Your team played well last year against the Aggies. What happened to them this year? Cheers for a great football game.

Don't forget hating life every time an article shows up in the Sac Bee about the Aggies. Seems like an inferiority complex if you ask me.

You guys are right, let’s compare schedules. You Aggies have absolutely ZERO quality wins right? Yes that’s right, ZERO quality wins, please try a real Div I schedule and them talk some [bleep]. Oh wait, you beat a severely over-rated cal poly team? Oh wait, you won 3, yes THREE, conference games to win a conference championship?!?! Please, give me a **** break and calm the *** down. Do something in DI and then talk some [bleep]. Welcome to the big leagues, do something meaningful then talk some [bleep], otherwise sit down and shut the [bleep] up. Until you play a real DI conference schedule, sit sown and shut the [bleep] up!

[Bleep] DAVIS!

No one asked you.

Suchor field is not bad for a HS stadium.

This is fantastic. Let me ask you a simple question, it involves some critical thinking and economics, so that excludes most of you on the board from answering. What is better, starting out with a stadium that seats just over 10,000 but can and will be expanded to 30,000? Or, having a stadium that seats 20,000 and having it half full maybe, MAYBE, once a year? I think that creating a buzz (ZERO pun-intended) and selling out games is a lot better than having a stadium where everyone can have a row to themselves. You can knock the "high school" all you want, but when it comes down to it, the Honuts have never had a winning season in Division I and have won 1 out of the last 10 games against the Ags.

It hurts to be a Hornets fan, I can tell.

More seats = more $$$. That’s econ 101.Where the [bleep] have you been? Keep paying more for that overpriced education. Good job Aggies.

I don't know where to start with this one. Way to stay classy and drop some f-bombs in there, your argument is so much stronger with it in there.

I admit that the Great West is small, but if we were in the Big Sky, we would have better games, no thanks to you, Portland State or Idaho State. Games against Weber, Montana and Montana State would be great, but don't act like you are the cream of the crop in the Big Sky. As for beating an over-rated Cal Poly team, wasn't that the same over-rated team that pasted you guys earlier in the year by a score of 38-19?

Why are you posting such rage about doing something in the "big leagues" when you have ZERO, that's right, ZERO winning seasons? Maybe the Big Sky wants to replace you guys with us, that way they can get rid of the bottom feeders that keep dragging their SOS down.

I am as calm as can be, maybe it is you who needs to step away from the ledge and take a deep breath. Go inside, it is almost your bedtime Junior.

You only make money if you sell them out idiot. It is called supply and demand. You can't charge as much when you NEVER sell out. You are one of the posters I was talking about.

No worries, we’ve averaged almost as much as they have in Aggie Stadium. Your point is moot. ;)

The f bombs are legit, and we know so, otherwise stay on your own Aggie board. When talking about “the farm extension”, all the stops are pulled out. Yes, cal poly beat us; it was their best game of the year. They never matched the stats they had that game. They definitely played down to their potential the rest of the year as I though they would. Sac State laid, an egg, it happens. We all know any team in the GWC wouldn’t be able to compete in a BSC conference schedule. If you disagree…well…. Never said we are the cream of the crop in the BSC, but we all know no GWC team would even be competitive in this type of a schedule. I mean struggleing against the Dakotas…

“ the farm extension” replaceing Sac State in the BSC…. . Seriously like your admin will want to fund all your other sports partaking in the BSC sponsored athletic schedule… . Really, you actually think they would break from the bus league the big west is… . I’ll as calm as no other. Seriously, toke it up, take a breath, and when Sac rolls on some more Aggie ass this weekend, nothing else will need to be said this weekend.

GO HORNETS! 8-)

The point is not moot, you have no idea what you are talking about. It is simple economics. If you have more people wanting something (demand) than is available to meet everyone's needs (supply) people are going to pay more that product. It doesn't matter if it is oil, gold, a candy bar, video game or a ticket to a football game. Do they teach you anything over there?

Um, never matched the stats the rest of the year? They scored 48 points and had 535 yards of total offense yesterday against South Dakota. Do we all believe that no GWC team would be successful in the Big Sky? I think there are some fans from Montana, Portland State and Sac State who would think we would fit in nicely and add to an already good conference.

So the question still remains, how many winning seasons does Sac State have in the "big leagues?"

The point is Aggie stadium *cough* can’t meet “demand” *cough*. Go back to the drawing board Aggie. douche
