So with all these rumors going around about him being looked at by Oregon is there any reason to be worried about him transferring?

No. The whole story came about from a random posting on a Ducks fan site. It got picked up as a rumor in the Oregonian. Montana fans have decided to run with it so they don't get beat a fifth time by the same QB.

This was mentioned in the UO/EWU thread, but Vern will definitely be playing in Eugene next year. He'll just be wearing red and white. ;)

And doing the victory dance!!

VA is featured below. Lot of QB talent returning in 2015.

So, to recap, for this to be possible he'd have to graduate in June (missing Spring ball), transfer in the summer, learn an entirely new offense prior to fall camp, and then hope he's named the starter? Seems far-fetched to me. If anything, doing that hurts his draft stock.

Uh Oh... looks like Adams is considering Oregon.

NEXT MAN UP!
I think this is a bad move on so many levels for him.
But if it does will wish him the best of luck!

He will have an official visit to Oregon this weekend.

Sure, one more year to watch VA play would be great, but losing Vernon to Oregon will elevate our program's reputation and present an opportunity for the next great Eagle QB.

Can't blame him for leaving. Gives him better shot at NFL.

I like his chances at Eastern :(

I think unless he believes that he has a very strong chance to start for the Ducks, he won't transfer. EWU will showcase his skills enough to get attention from the NFL. Garoppolo from EIU went in the 2nd round of the draft last year. I don't know how high VA goes if at EWU after a great year. But if goes to Oregon, and plays lights out, he could be a top pick. That's a tough opportunity to pass up.
