Things didn't go as planned in this game but I'm proud of the boys sticking in there until the end. Wow, what a game!

A couple of you maybe need to sit the next game out.
Was that a frustrating and stressful game to watch? You bet.
Never count out the Eags. Staff made great adjustments to slow down their run game after halftime, and it was just enough, just in time.
Looked to me Kupp was double and triple covered most of the game, and yeah, we ran the ball a lot more than usual. But the ground game was there, and while I'm no QB, throwing with or against that kind of wind can't be easy. You all saw West's first and only deep shot down the field (with the wind)... sailed 10 yards past his man.
Bottom line, we got the win, more starters will coming back from injury, and we got a lot of young guys with experience the last couple games. Of you want to bitch, you know where eGriz is. :twocents:

I understand the rules that apply to taunting opposing players (standing over a player, etc) but I've never agreed with the "excessive celebration" rule. And if you're a ref, you should definitely not throw a flag on something like that where it can decide a game.
I don't blame KB for celebrating...it was a great play.

Missed the last stop as I was lucky enough to catch the stream and have my son rewind it after an exhilarating morning of soccer and shopping. Was nervous having to switch over to the website not knowing the score. What a crazy game...I thought with the wind and their option we might have some problems. Bourne stepped up huge! I guess ISU is DOA after all and the Weber Game doesn't look like an auto win either. Going to be a dog fight to the end. Way to go Eags!

I'd say it went 90 degrees for most of the half, but yeah it got to 180.

We always seem to play some crazy games with you guys. I gotta give props to the CP defense for holding EWU's passing game to only 200 yards. Both teams played their hearts out; it's a shame someone had to lose that one. Good luck the rest of the way...always a fan of CP against everyone else but EWU. :thumb:

Got stuck in a function this afternoon and didn't get to watch or listen to the game. Luckily I was able to catch the score on gamecast. Sounds like it was an exciting game, Go Eags!
Another game like this and I'll need a pacemaker. I fear I lose a couple of years off my lifespan every time there's a game like this.
Hard to believe we turned that one around. We quite literally would have struggled to play any worse than we did for about 50 minutes. It's almost hard to see how high our upside might be if we play a complete 60 minutes on both sides of the ball...
FWIW... what the hell was up with our defensive position? Why on Earth would we not contest the line of scrimmage against a team that is running all over us? Not only that, how often were our safeties a mile off the line of scrimmage when they pitched the ball? There were a lot of things to improve out there today; thank goodness those issues didn't cost us the game!
