Weber @ Montana

I happened to pick up both a SL Trib and a USA Today this morning, and there was hardly a mention of Weber's big road trip this weekend in the Trib. But the USA Today had a nice little paragraph on the weekend's games.

http://www.usatoday.com/sports/college/mensbasketball/2010-02-04-tipoff_N.htm

"Weber State looks to move a couple of steps closer to the Big Sky regular-season championship. The Wildcats have a two-game lead heading into this weekend's contests at Montana today and Montana State on Saturday. The Montana schools are tied for third. The regular-season champion earns the right to host the semifinals and final in the league tournament."

It's sad that I have to go to a national newspaper to read about the Wildcats. It's no wonder local newspapers all over the country are folding.

I too am disappointed at the lack of local coverage. Thank goodness for the Standard Examiner - Jason does a great job. The SLC media is pathetic - once in a while we get thrown a bone, but for the most part it is all about the zoobies, pukes, and spazz.

I just read the Standard Examiner, its the only paper that talks about Weber.

It does bother me to when the local media shoves us under the table, but there is nothing we can do.

Tonights game will be tough, but I think Weber will come out on top. I think Weber is more talented and better coached than the Grizzlies. And the Wildcats as a team are playing really great ball right now. Each player is fitting into thier roles right at the right time. Lillard is shooting lights out right now, and Sessions is playing great unselfish ball shooting only when he is wide open, but is always looking to dish it out to someone else. Panos is also playing great ball, probably better than he has ever played here at Weber and Im sure its only a matter of time that Hansen and Bullinger will get thier rythem back. and Weber has alot of depth with Hughey and Morris and Mahoney and Josh Noble coming out big vs the Hornets.

We all know Weber is good enough to win out the rest of the season, And I think they will.

Its the some of the volleyball players.

Weber is allowing to many second chance opportunities. And taking poor shots.

So what changes do we need to make to pull this out in the second half? Is Lillard going to have to go off, is someone else going to step up?
