Weber State @ Eastern Predictions

WILDCAT

Weber State's offense is firing on all cylinders, outscoring thier first 2 BSC foes by a total of 94-38. Mike Hoke continues to make good decisions with the ball, and Weber's running backs, (all 5 of them) are racking up the yards, and unlike previous years Weber is # 1 in turnover margin at +5. Weber's defense is also progressivly getting better, EWU's o-line is suffering from the injury bug, and thier run defense is lacking, which speaks bad news for them, as Weber excells at running the football, Weber's balanced attack will be too much for the Eagles.

No score for me, but I have a feeling Weber State wins.

WEBER STATE WEBER STATE GREAT GREAT GREAT

I am not into numerical predictions, but I predict a WILDCAT VICTORY!

42 - 17, WSU.

We dominate time of posession, and score often. We leave them a bit redder than they already are.

Definitely not a blowout. The only weird loss they've had is the South Dakota loss. But losing to UM, MSU, and UW are understandable. Weber is gonna need a full team 60 minute effort to win this one.
WSU 38
EWU 34

All this blowout chatter is crazy talk. I don't care if E Wash is 0-4, this game is by no means a gimme.

This is a very scary scenario... either EWU will tank for the season, or they're going to come out like crazy mo-fos and not give a flying rip about anything but beating the crap out of us.

not a blow out, but a head to head, nose to nose battle.....it's a game of inches, and that's what we fight for...inches....

Keys to the game for Weber,

1. DO NOT TURN THE BALL OVER
2. Keep up the good play calling (offensive playcalling in last 2 games has been good.)
3. Pressure Eastern's QB all night, he has proved that he makes mistakes when pressured.
3 1/2. Take away thier passing game, make them beat us on the ground
4. Make sure to cover Kaufman AT ALL TIMES

Do these 4 and a half things, and the game is yours for the taking Weber

I think we will win big. 50-0. It is going to be a fun year.
Whoa!! Pump the breaks there fella. EWU may be 0-4 but they are at home and are perhaps more dangerous than if they were 4-0. Never underestimate a wounded dog. If WSU overlooks them, they will surely lose. However, I do still think the Wildcats get the road win. 31-17. :coffee:

Can't wait till Saturday. I think we win - but I still feel our secondary is susceptible to big pass plays. Gotta cover those WRs and get to BLM.

Cats 45 :woo:
Eagles 38

wsu's legit offensive line + 5 runningbacks the big sky can't stop + hoke + low turnovers + our D holding ewu to under 30 = 2nd straight win in cheney.

wsu 31
ewu 27

we have won 3 out of last 4 in cheney, lets make it 4 of last 5!

For some weird reason I am not worried about the DB's at all this year. Yes they are young but they are very talented, fast, and VERY well coached, plus they all communicate very well with each other. But obviously IF WSU can get to Bo Levi Mitchell it makes the DB's job that much easier.

So far this season, all five of EWU's starting offensive linemen have been injured. They are pretty much running on a scout team o-line right now. If WSU brings a lot of pressure, Mitchell will make mistakes. On offense, if the Wildcats stick to their trend of running the ball, they will run it down the Eagles' throats. EWU is ranked dead last in rushing defense (however, first in pass defense). Run, run, run and open up the passing game. Been working well for Hoke so far...

After being out the last 3 games, the return of 'The Beast' is well needed and well timed

Eastman (elbow) will practice this week but will still be a game time decision Saturday (If he plays I would expect his time to be limited). Morales (groin), Jankowski (ankle), Tiatia (leg), and Epperson (knee) are probable and all are expected to play. Diamond (elbow) and Bowers (wrist) are out.
