Weber State @ Eastern Washington:GDT

Get a stop or even hold them to 3 and I like our chances in the snow. We have been able to run on them pretty well all game long.

Best case scenario would have been holding them to a FG with around 2 minutes left on the clock. Still not totally dead in the water though.

Disappointed with the outcome but not the effort. The main difference in the game was Weber holding our offense to two FG's in the end zone.

Same here. It wasn't a bad performance given the effect of the weather conditions on the passing game. We ran the ball well. Defense played well. Our red zone efficiency just wasn't good enough. Give Weber credit, they have a good team.

Yup. It's just not our year. We still have a chance to make the playoffs but I don't think we'd make it that far given the youth of this team.

I remember when we never had to settle for field goals. Those red zone stands were the difference maker.

Good effort eags, and strong win Wildcats. I don't think we will make the playoffs and I think Weber and SUU can both win in the first round.

This loss really hurts. What I noticed is that when the game was on the line we didn't have the same confidence as previous Eagle teams. I think it is because our offense is really lacking in Senior leadership. I believe Nic S. is the only Senior on that side of the ball.

Weber and SUU both have very solid teams this year. I think both match up well with most Missouri Valley teams.

When are you folks going to admit that Gage Gubrud sucks ass. Damn! he is choking his nuts off. He was 0-fer ? in those last two/three drives. Something needs to change! If Best doesn’t do SOMETHING, he’s gonna screw up the program.

Best didn’t EARN that HC spot. He’s not D1 HC material. Neither is Jody Sears.
