I really think its gonna be a great game and I'm glad I can watch it free on bigskytv.org

Has WSU really never won at Sac?

Hilliard and Smith return with a vengance to repay Weber for last year's debacle.

SAC will score a defensive TD and win big possibly breaking the Top 25 in the Coaches' Poll.

SAC 34 WSU 17

I wonder if Sac woulda been in it if it wasn't for the snow!

Sorry guys, WSU has a very good QB averaging over 300 yds. throwing a game.

Our secondary is suspect.

We still make too many bonehead mistakes at the wrong time and our inability to score (TD) in the 2nd half last week has me concerned.

I swore to never 'predict' a Sac State score again, but I degress, WSU 31 Sac 24

Yeah but our secondary kinda played down to SOU. Believe me GCM, you don't think the coaches are pointing this out to them this week. Im hoping that since it happened against SOU, that they are taught not to do it from here on out. A good lesson really if you think about it.

As far as the lack of scoring in the 2nd half, the offense really pulled up on its intensity I think in order not to run up the score. IMO.

Given how tight things are between 25 and the Hornets at the provisional 39, I'm not exactly sure it'll take a huge win for Sac to vault into the poll proper, particularly if enough folk in the lower half lose. Of course, an outright loss would prevent it for this week. But a win of any size MAY be enough to do it.

GCM, with all due respect last week

1. We had seven starting players out of the line up including our QB and Tailback;
2. The guys were still emotionally spent from the Colorado State game, where they left everything on the field;
3. We did make a number of mental mistakes, but;
4. We won in spite of the injuries, the lack of emotional energy and mistakes;
5. We made a two huge defensive plays to stop SOU TDs;
6. Without the mistakes, tack on 14 points for us and call the score 40-16.

We came within 89 seconds of beating Colorado State and you don't think we can beat Weber State? Please forgive me, but this team will show up with a vengeance this weekend.

Score: SAC 42 BBQ 30

I think these are two evenly matched teams, since the game is in Sac I'll give the nod to the Hornets.

SAC 31
WSU 30

I think SAC 28 WSU 24

Since the kittens are a shooting team, Coach Sperbeck with slow down the game by running the ball. Especially since he'll have Hilliard, Croxdale, and Wilkins. Should be fun to watch. So there shouldn't be such a reliance on Washington. Also, there were a numerous pass receivers in the last game, which provides some options. And, Smith is playing. Running down the clock by running the ball and keeping the kittens offense on the sidelines will win the game. I might even go 28 to 21.

The Sac State campus is not that big in terms of acreage, hence no on-campus hotel. I know that some teams stay at the Radisson off 160. Not sure if any of the Big Sky teams stay at the big hotels downtown (Hyatt, Grand Sheraton, Embassy)

I agree, on paper we are very evenly matched. Hence, it will be a game of execution and lack of turnovers and penalties. We've got to stop the fumblies in key situations. And the long pass, especially to Toone.

27 points to 16 points is not running up the score.

This is a key game for us, we've never lost at home since the Broad was dedicated. I hope my prediction above proves false.

Hope we have another 10K+ crowd.
