Week 13: Causeway....

I'm glad the Aggies beat Cal Poly last night. Hopefully it's a wake up call to the Hornets that they shouldn't be taken lightly. Will Sankey return???

He was questionable for PSU, I think he might play this week. Depends on if the coaches think he is ready or not.

Coach Sears said in the pregame interview that he probably would play. Darnell has been a cheerleader on the sidelines the last two weeks, you know he wants to play in the Causeway.

I just hope that the doctors, training staff and coaches make sure he's ready to go, he's poised for a monster year next season.

Safron, Carter and company will slice and dice the dungpiler secondary to death.

GL, do you think the weather will have an effect on the passing game?

If you haven't bought tickets yet don't worry, there are thousands left....

Not much. Looks like they expect, rain until about 9:00, only about 20 percent chance at KO, with wind about 5-10 mph. As long as it don't turn out to be like the monsoon a few years ago with 50 mph wind it shouldn't affect play very much. Slick wet field can be an advantage to receivers.

It will be nice to have Carter this year, really showed not having him in the offense last season

It will also be nice to have a healthy OL this year. Last year they were totally depleted by the Causeway.
We always seem to have major players out by the Causeway, this is the healthiest year that I can remember. We should be almost full strength especially if Sankey plays.

The Monson Monsoon, if we never had another of those I would be fine. The fact that the Ags put a whoopin on CP means this will be a good game.

Sankey isn't playing this week. He doesn't have full movement back in his leg. Keep in mind, Mcl tears take 24-6 weeks or more to recover from. Robbie Kendall broke his foot on the second kickoff vs Psu. We will be without our 2 best defensive players. The offense is going to have to put up 40 again to win.

I'm not surprised that Sankey won't be ready. The radio crew mentioned it as a possibility during the Montana game and Coach Sears also said in the pregame this week that Darnell might be ready. Better to be safe than sorry. Too bad about Kendall, they said it was a sprain when he went out Saturday. Mike Sellers did a good job filling in for him and had that huge pick, we should be OK.
