• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

Week One: Adams State

So of course this is all with a grain of salt but to shut anyone out is not easy and although this is a DII team we still thoroughly dominated from start to finish which is the killer instinct I haven't seen in a loooooong time.

Another reason why low-ranked Division II schools should never play any Division I school. I don't see how this helps the morale of our team especially when the only thing we got in return was a beat down and nothing more. I just don't understand how Adams State could allow this game to take place. We should've said "no" and forced UNC to schedule someone else.

I don't think any of us expected UNC to dominate like they did, I for one didn't, I figured they would win but not like this. That's probably what was going through the schedule makers heads at the time. After this game, I agree, UNC shouldn't be playing lower level DII teams.

My guess is that players like to play up once in a while. I know our players get pumped up to play BCS teams such as Kansas or Michigan State (even though they know it could be a long day).

Wasn't able to watch the game, but like what I heard. This is exactly the way we should play a team like ASC.
Next week will be the true test, Go Bears!

I really hope this year is that breakthrough year that you all have been waiting for! You have some real potential, and I hope ya'll represent Colorado well in the Big Sky and the Football Championship Subdivision. Best of luck!
