I have two questions here,
First, when Weber beats that team down south, which WSU player will say we won because "Weber players are living right on and off the court?"
Second , is BYU-Provo paying their coach in hamburgers? That guy is gaining some serious lbs. He's no Rick Majerus, but give him 10 more years down there in Provo (lol) and he will look just like Big Rick just in a blue sweater instead.
 
I'll be at the game. It's one of the worst places to visit if you are an opposing fan. I have never lasted through an entire game at the Y of P without a Zoobie trying to fight me or something. Interesting place... they definitely forget that the Marriot Center is a "Dedicated" building and that they pray before each game. Sportmanship?? Thats a foreign word in Provo (lol).

They really have poor sportsmanship? They are representing a church, really? What about the student section? As you can see I've never been to BYU-Provo nor have I been to Provo (lol) more than once in the last decade...luckily! lol
 
TAL, I will see you down there, you are dead on about Coug' fan, although they are slightly better than ISU Bengal fan. The zoobies definitly forget that the Marriot Center is a dedicated building. From my experience, the "honor code" doesn't apply to fans at sporting events, except you cant get a coke with caffeine.
 
I was planning on going down but the closer it gets to tipoff the more I keep talking myself out of going not because I don't think that the cats can't win, I just hate everything about that place. I avoid Prozak Valley like the plague.
 
You have got to love the myopic fans of BYU-Provo. Everything is against BYU-Provo and nothing will convince the "true blue, died in the wool" Zoobie fan.

Hold on...what you mean is true Utah State blue died in the wool Aggie wannabeez. Let us never for get when BYU-Provo adopted USU's colors about ten yrs back. Never for get the regular blue they once wore.

Also never forget BYU-Provo does what ever they want, the world revolves around their campus...I mean common the student newspaper is even named "The Daily Universe". Yikes!!

The above might sound like a joke but it is all seriously true.
 
Thanks for correcting me, Bob&Waldo. I got the true blue died in the wool thing from some of the the fans of the Y of P. I do remember the old blue they used to use. I did not know that the fish wrap down there was called the daily universe. They sound like the old Chinese. The Chinese consider their country to be the middle kingdom, or the center of the world.

when BYU-Provo changed their colors how did they decide to use USU's? Y not use Utah's red? I'll never get used to BYU-Provo having usu colors. I still think of them as the boise blue and then when I see em I remember...oh ya, they now use usu blue.
 
I heard a rummor that WSU was going to send a bus down to Provo, if this is true where can we find out about that, and who is the contact?
 
WSU is NOT sending a bus down to Provo (lol) unless a student group is doing it. The Wildcat Club has done so in the past, but lost a lot of money on it. Too bad so many things are $ driven at WSU.

What? You mean BYU-Provo is not happy being in a conference that when you win it you get to play the 4th place team in the PAC 10?

I think playing the 4th place team in the PAC 10 is a good motivator for Mtn West teams. It must make those long hot summer practices all worth it!! I wish if WSU won the Big Sky we could play the 4th place team in the Southland Conference! That would make for a meaningful season!!

Isn't smoking against the code of conduct?!? BTW there is no way that the Y of P will beat us by over 30. You are the one who is dreaming.
 
Dear CougsSuck, it's good to see that at least 1 coug fan has figured out how to use a computer. But please refrain from using such language I would hate for you to have an honor code violation.
There is no way BYU-Provo beats WSU by 33, you must have a medical excuse for smoking that stuff otherwise that kind of thing is in NO way allowed. :o
I will be coming down to Happy Valley for the game so please save some Green Jello, funeral potatoes and some milk for me.

BYU-Provo sucks, but not as bad as their fans. Go watch your copy of the 1984 Holiday Bowl and go back in your cave and dream of the good ol' days of when anybody outside of Provo (lol) cared about you or your crappy town.
