BYU-Provo happens to be very proud of beating a 6-6 6th place in the Big Ten Michigan for a National Title!!! 24-17, they really showed Michigan what they were all about!

I still don't see why Oklahoma was mad about it? 1 loss in the Big 12 is nothing compared to going undefeated in the WACK. BYU-Provo took down some serious power houses...like USU, UTEP, San Diego St, Tulsa, & Baylor.

It was also the only time since the inception of the AP poll that a team was awarded the national title without beating an opponent ranked in the top 25 at the season's end.

as for BYU-Provo being in the tournament in march, don't bother...they always choke at the tourney...they only have 3 tournament wins since Ainge and no 1st rd wins since 1993. even little old wsu has 2 wins since 1995 and 4 total since "ainge"

So apparently maybe we need to schedule more pathetic teams instead of actual teams that play football. And if you actually think that the MWC is a weak conference then how come they're rated as the best conference outside of the BCS boys. There is one thing that needs to be said about Hawaii's season. It isn't Hawaii's fault all the teams they scheduled this year (probably scheduled 4-5 yrs ago) turned out to be duds.

A team shouldn't be penalized for playing bums. The issue is the bowl system. Hawaii's players should be able to prove how good they are on the field like how it's done in college basketball. Until then if u go undefeated y shouldn't u be in the title game? I don't care if ur in the Mtn West, SEC, or the Sun Belt.

I'm sure BYU-Provo would love playoffs too, I mean I really doubt they look forward to playing a 4th place PAC 10 team after winning the Mtn West...that's just lame on the NCAA's part.

Actually allot can be said about their schedule they had the opportunity to go play other teams off the island but their AD said no as far as a playoff they need to install it and do it now this is ridiculous that they mess up with the NC game 90% of the time and are still in charge of who goes where. Yes I do think that Hawaii deserves a shot do I think they would go far no. As hard and pain full it is for me to say this but the Utah (Go Utes) team in 04 could of played and beat any team in the nation and they got screwed and stuck with a pathetic Pitt team. As for playing the 4th or 5th place team in the Pac 10 I hate it worth a passion it's pathetic and our commissioner needs to be fired for all the crap that he has allowed to happen in our conference.
