bobandwaldo"]If we can stay under 15 turnovers we might have a chance. BYU-Provo is really focusing on Michigan State for their game this Saturday at the Delta Center.

WSU looked past San Bernardino a couple weeks ago for the UCLA game...

BTW: WSU is 2-0 alltime vs Michigan State - basketball powerhouse of the Big Ten.

That's one thing that worries me about this game is that we might look past you guys to MSU that's a big game but you have to take one game at a time. So far I like what I see and I believe Coach Rose won't let them look past you guys. IMHO we should beat them but I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't, we should of had NC but for some reason couldn't hit a dang bucket in the last 6 mins.

I admit I don't like BYU-Provo that much. mostly cause of snooty, narrow minded fans. Though not all fans are that way, it seems like most are.

But my real hatred is towards the MWC. It sucks. I actually am attending the U for a Master's degree, (and am slowly becoming a Ute fan as well as a Weber fan) and think both teams, BYU-Provo and utah, would be better off out of the conference right now. But it's obvious that they're stuck. whoever had the idea to play a crappy pack ten team in the vegas bowl ought to be shot or at least tarred and feathered.

I hate when either team schedules cup cake schools, but like you say, if you want the bowl games that bring your school money, than that's what you gotta do. it's obvious that the schools only care about money, not about how good they really are. Even though it's not against the rules or anything, it just feels a lot like they are just trying to trick themselves into thinking they are better than they really are. It feels an awful lot like cheating. You can't know how good you really are if you only beat weak teams. If you think you are so good, schedule big teams. If you win you can say "told ya so." and your chance of a national title increases. if you lose then well at least you'll know you aint that good yet.

My hatred is towards all BYU-Provo fans, men, women, cats, dogs, moose, and all non-heteros at other schools who don't support their own d*** school.

This is my first visit to this board and I'm really disappointed that WSU fans have become Utes. I grew up in the Ogden area, but I'm a BYU-Provo alum. Is it automatically a pre-requisite that if you aren't a BYU-Provo fan, you turn into a BYU-hater and follow the red sheep up on the hill? I just don't get it. I even saw a post above that referred to BYU-Provo as the Team Down South. Did Urban coach at WSU too?

(I am disappointed if there were truly BYU-Provo fans that wanted to fight, called you names, whatever. Apologies on behalf of all normal Cougar fans if this was the case.)

They really pray before a college bball home game? ya right...

What is a Zoobie or what does it mean?

They really have poor sportsmanship? They are representing a church, really? What about the student section? As you can see I've never been to BYU-Provo nor have I been to Provo (lol) more than once in the last decade...luckily! lol
They really do pray before every home sporting event, FYI.

Zoobie: The best definition I have heard for the term zoobie is like this: BYU-Provo students are a lot like zoo animals; although everyone looking in from the outside can see that their environment is not natural, they can be convinced that it is how they should be living. Add to that the fact that most zoos are created to help animals mate, and you have a very close representation of Provo (lol).

Thus: BYU-Provo students are zoobies. Hope that helps

Remember one thing...us state schools are on the same side!! It's us vs you the private school!!! So in a sense yes we are Utes...

You will learn as you look at other message boards, it isn't that other school's fans are following Utah's, just that most fan bases dislike byu's. I'm not talking trash, it just is true. Most fans of other in-state schools don't like your fans, as well as most MWC fans. They aren't following Utah fans, they are learning for themselves. I don't hate all BYU-Provo fans, but I hate enough of them that attending events in your arenas is hard.

I agree with you that sometimes success breeds arrogance in some of the Cougar faithful. It's too bad we don't show the same courtesy to the in conference/in-state schools (ok, other than the U) that we do to schools from other conferences.

I hope the Weber has a nice run this year and wins every game except for tonight.

Good luck!

Weber is at the free throw line for the second time in tonight, they have thirteen min. left to play in the game.

The posts I am reading can't be coming from real WSU fans, they must be Utes because they are so absurd.

ajwildcat"]I have two questions here,
First, when Weber beats that team down south, which WSU player will say we won because "Weber players are living right on and off the court?"
Second , is BYU-Provo paying their coach in hamburgers? That guy is gaining some serious lbs. He's no Rick Majerus, but give him 10 more years down there in Provo (lol) and he will look just like Big Rick just in a blue sweater instead.

Well it looks like you were jussst a little bit off. LOL good game guys good luck the rest of the season and hope you guys can put on a run and make it to the tourney

ox, what in the world are you talking about?!? You just show up and think that you know the make-up of this board?? Most of the people here are passionate about Weber State athletics. Just because many of us have had BAD experiences with BYU-Provo fans you call us ABSURD and Utes? Give me a break!!!
