2013 Recruiting: 17 Verbals

That Cory Moorhead looks incredible. Hope we can bring him in.

If he played DE, we would have to work on his tackling though. Tackling up high and dragging kids down won't work at this level.

Updated as of December 17th. Check out the WR from Stockton California. Would be nice to get another big body at WR with Edwards and Herd gone. Also, of note Josh Savage was at the ISU game on the 6th. Interesting that he has offers from both schools. Another interesting note is that we have offered the Kicker from Central Valley that kicked the 67 yarder at Joe Albi earlier in the year.

Nice. :thumb:

Only thing is Scout has him committed to Portland State, which is why I left him off the list. Kinda surprised that he'd choose PSU over Eastern unless EWU hasn't offered yet.

He gave PSU a verbal before the begining of the season. (his first offer)
Then EWU offered him in September and Central Washington also offered him a full ride this month too.
decisions....decisions

Thanks! I'll update the list.

I know that there's a lot more that goes into recruiting than just the W/L's, but a decision between a perennial FCS Power (EWU), a mediocre FCS (PSU), and a DII doesn't seem like that big of a decision. Of course I can see the alure of kids on the west side wanting to play a little closer to home in Portland, but really, the distance is sort of negligible.

I totally get what you're saying, but we need quick guys that like to hit at LB... WR isn't as important. Plus, LBs are better athletes, have higher standardized IQs, tend to be more successful in life, get more chicks, make better looking children, and are rumoured to be significantly more endowed.
